I grew up watching this show as an American, it's an all-time classic!
The only time she said no to Sheridan was funnily enough in the very first episode.
This is the only time she doesn't want to send him money; usually she obliges while Richard is the one saying he doesn't want to!
Right on
Carrington Hollister Thanks Carrington👍
No problem
MASE
Hyacyinth looks just like my mum. I miss her.
She looks and behaves like my grandma from my dad's side
Absolutely! Patricia Rutledge looks remarkably like my dear late mother.
A little heavier, but the facial features and hair color are almost spooky alike.
My mother too had a beautiful signing voice. Ms. Rutledge is a classically trained signer. She purposely sang off key in this series, but she actually has a stunning signing voice.
Yes, I miss my mother as well. I was fortunate. I had wonderful parents. I thank God for them every day.
Does your father look like Richard
Hyacinth / Patrica is very beautiful. Your mom must be very beautiful too ♥️ personally she reminds me of my great grandmother.
@@ellisonhamilton3322 She is a women with more cravings for class than the Queen
Wow, for once, Hyacinth says "No" to Sheridan when he asks for money!
That was because what Sheridan was planning to do was so abhorrent, Hyacinths morals kicked in.
Loved the show. 💖
I think in this episode returning from the majors conservatory was even funnier : )))
Yes her scenes with Major are funnier.
about time she said no. maybe she finally figured that it was taking money from her account as well. She is a house wife so Richard's money is her money as well.
The only time she got angry with her darling Sheridan….
A good scene but very far from being the funniest in the series.
There are so many!
The one that Onslow showers everyone in spit beer always makes me laugh LOL
I like the one where Hyacinth falls into the water while trying to launch the boat for her riverside buffet. :D
@@nassauguy48 That is a great moment, yes. I think though that my all time best was when Hyacinth was trying to show Richard a man in Elizabeth’s house, later identified as her brother, Emmet. That bit where Hyacinth forces Richard to go to the car and pretend to forget something gets my vote
To each their own
Mrs Bucket Lady of the house speaking!
You mean Bouquet
❤❤❤❤.
An awesome comedy. :)
Lookout major has wandering hands,!
Agree with Hyacinth, Sheridan thinks Richard is endless money pit 🐹
My comment was going to be just like "Vinyl"..so I'll say if she doesn't want to send poor Sheridan (imagine being her son!) then he's truly in trouble. Richard is the more sensible one on matters about Sheridan - he wasn't going to give him any money!
Riparian feast
Is that the episode where they took the boat out? Now THAT was a hilarious scene!
@@soulstrength I don't remember. The boat debacle was one of my favorites. Poor Richard.
Several comments have it backwards. This was the series premiere, they hadn't settled into the familiar characterizations yet. Sheridan was looking to join an anarchist group, and Hyacinth refused to send him money. They later decided it worked much better for him to be gay and Hyacinth dotes on him for all the money he needs for silk pajamas and walking holidays with Tarquin.
gay anarchist middle class. checks out 😂
♥️
Chiacynta bucket polecam
What about Sheridan?
Robert Treacy DON'T SEND HIM ANY MONEY!
He's a Homosexual .
Maybe he is maybe he isn’t hmmm who knows
Who cares. Still...don’t send him any money.
Whatever else he may, or may not be, he's definitely a deadbeat !
Not one of the funniest scenes of one of the funniest shows it’s from the first episode where she objects sending a Sheridan money they charge they changed it to where she insist on Sheridan getting money a poor example of a great show
