Jus made my batch yesterday of onion juice, i blend with actual coconut ,jojobia oil ,honey tea tree oil has vitamin e and good for scalp & argan oil. Also i blend cloves with it as well then strained it into my spray bottle. My husband did cloves water and coconut oil ,olive oil ,rosemary oil, and a frizz oil and his hair growing like crazy...im 3 months post partum n in trying to maintain my hair because its shedding. I use to use rice water and it does thickin the hair. So that's another option besides me using the onion coconut etc ..im also going to be doing hair mask with avocado ,egg,banana, flaxseed,honey which is really good

I wonder if I making an onion paste in a blender and then using that onion paste as a leave in mask will be as beneficial and as effective as onion water? I would only keep it for less than a week. And for the breakage, i recommend you try out the homemade treatments on my channel they'll help with hair growth, retention and thicken. Also put your hair in protective styles which last longer but not too tight.

I don't leave it in for too long and I shampoo my hair twice thoroughly and the smell doesn't stay afterwards
You need to soak your hair in a lemon & acv hair mask on for an hour & it'll go away. I always do this & the smell is gone after shampooing
