Great video! Very happy you released that beautiful fish.
Pls rich, can you go over your kayak rig? Lol just a quick overview 🙏
Yeah I can do that in my next kayak fishing video I film.
@@FishAholicTV you’re the best and all of the fishing and gear is inspiring! Honestly a run down on all of your gear/preferred setups would be sick.
@@FishAholicTV if you end up doing that, please show your transducer and battery setup for your fish finder!
@@FishAholicTV how do you know what sex the fish is before you have landed it my son would like to know ?
What a catch and release. Beautiful video, thanks as always.
Awesome catch and release.... enjoyed it!!!
Great to see you again bro. Thank you for all you do. There are many of us unplugging from the matrix and getting back to basics leading a better life.

probably one of the best fishing videos on youtube! Congrats on the sail
Great day brother… sun up to sundown. Awesome day. Thank you for the video.
Let’s gooooo!!! Congrats on your first sail. Great vid Slaya
Great video there's nothing like open water fishing you just can't tell for sure what's going to hit the line, the water was calm the fish were biting and to top it all off a Sailfish takes a line awesome catch and release. I was worried that it might break the line very exiting congrats on that, by the way I'm sure you don't have to worry about their bite I've seen people push their stomach back in them up to ones elbow though I believe they swallow it on their own. 👍
Thanks! It was a really cool solo day out there. I was happy to see it’s stomach wasn’t hanging out of its mouth.
Congrats on your first sail!! You handled it well too 💪🏻😎👍🏻

Awesome vid
Excellent!
Thanks so much!
Eat more ⛵️🐟
I like the rig graphics.
Saves video space.
Haha you know it.
Watched all the ads! I’d say that sail was worth the drone, CONGRATS (but that still stinks to lose a drone)!
What a day man! Killer video great job.
Thanks so much!! Tight Lines!!
Hi mate i'm Chris from Australia. Loved the video and we use the same herring and mullet for nearly everything too.
I did watch all the adds and like…… great video ❤
Fun!
Great job brother i ve enjoyed your video
Awsome👏👏
good content keep it up!
Awesome catch dude
beautiful video, good job bro
Good job, bruv.
Congrats on your SAIL
Thanks so much!
I've been trailering down Florida from NJ now every year since I got sober trying to land a sail. Ive had 4 on with 2 landed. I didn't get down this year as I had been restoring my "new" boat. Can't wait to get down this winter. I sort of try for them off AC in Aug. I started doing allot of kite fishing up here with insane results. Last year I bagged a 52lb wahoo on a 16ft starcraft 23 miles off AC 😂😆😂.
bucket list catch done.
Haha yeah I’m stoked!!!
I couldn't imagine the feeling wow
what an amazing video
Thanks so much!!
What a session ... 🤙🏽
Thanks so much!!
WOW!! What a great day of fishing Rich,, I'd be lying if I didn't say that I wish I could have come along & maybe even helped you eat up that delicious dinner ❤🐟❤
I guess we all wanted to be on board, in a certain way, we where
Hahaha thanks! It definitely would have helped especially when I doubled up. The snapper was delicious!
Nice sail 🎣🤙🏼
Thanks so much!!
I never could use a spinning reel for topwater action. Good stuff!
You’ve come along way last I watch you were in NJ still
Nice video
We have to fish baitfish one by one, no nets allowed. Keeps me humble (and busy)
Nice
Let’s go!
I can't read thru all 250 plus comments, so I don't know if someone else mentioned it but, the last smaller Snook you caught on a big mullett had an open mouth for a split second at about the 38:10 mark, and you can see what looks like that mullet's eye looking out of the Snooks open mouth....
I've recently taken up saltwater fishing thanks to your videos. I'm still trying to figure out what I'm doing, how to avoid wind knots, and what size weights are proportionate to the bait/target species. I probably look like a clown to the other fishermen around me, but I'm having fun and catching some stuff, all inshore so far. Thanks for the videos.
you should look for some friends that do the same or some family I learned with my dads friend how to fish so just try finding some homies that will learn with you or can teach you
I feel your pain on losing the drone. I’ve lost two since I’ve started my channel. It’s definitely heartbreak but a necessary item for the channel.
Beautiful Sail.... Highs and Lows are life. You couldn't retrieve the Drone ?
Rich, when are you taking a trip up north ?
Rich I love your videos. Been following for about 2+ yrs. Can you provide some info on your boat? What year/make/model. It seems like a perfect boat to enjoy some fishing!
Rip drone 😂
Get one of those waterproof, floating drones. They even right 😊themselves automatically when they hit the water
Hahaha 🤣 I’ll have to look into it.
@@FishAholicTV
I saw one demonstrated by J.C. on Rad Reeling a few months ago 👍
Great video! I see you are running a single motor on a relatively small boat. Your setup is very much like mine. What extra precautions do you take when headed out that far - in case of a motor failure? Towing service? Location electronics? Like you, I'm very comfortable on the water but things do happen. I'll be watching your channel - great information presented well.
15:57 Awesome catch man!
Thanks so much!
If your grocery shopping for vermillion. Used a heavy duty sabiki rig. Mustad makes some with 1/0 hooks
Ok cool. I’ll do it. Thanks!
Great video! So how come you don't keep the snook ?
you handled to drone loss so well i would have quit for the day
