      15+1 rounds of 10mm weighs about 10 ounces. They are made so the first five rounds fired on a 15 round magazine have the best balance for marksmanship.

      I've tried the 29 a few times and it just feels funky in my hand. it's too short for me to get a full hand contact, which helps with accuracy.

    • @colt10mmsecurity68
      @colt10mmsecurity68 Год назад

      @@stonehouseguitars3869 You’ll love Vedder’s “LightTuck” model for the following highlighted reasons:
      -The quality of their kydex material and how the inside of the holster that touches the gun’s finish, is polished baby skin smooth. That helps to minimize wear marks for a long long time and if constant use on one’s prized pistol.
      -Their superior and strong “spring steel” grade metal waistband retention clip. It will never break. …Never.
      -The fact that the spring steel clip is adjustable for forward and rearward cant angle and the clip’s flexibility makes the user able to adjust its ride height above the belt line. This makes the LightTuck IWB holster extremely “tailor made” for an individual user and his comfort.
      -The fact that Vedder rounds and polishes smooth all corners of their Light Tuck holsters, leaving it better for a more comfortable fit.
      -It’s ultra light weight feel, independent from the pistol it holds. Again, it’s a “minimalist’s” dream.
      -The fact that the Vedder LightTuck holster has the sweat guard portion of the holster come all the way up to and flush with the rear of the slide. As a result, this limits perspiration to its maximum from around the belly and from ultimately making contact with the pistol.
      -The adjustable tension screw with the very best audible “click” and positive feel made when securing the pistol into the holster. It’s the best I’ve used in an AIWB holster and that I’ve ever encountered.
      -The fact that with all of the above, the holster remains a “minimalists” dream, while securing and protecting the firearm’s finish.
      Unlike other kydex type IWB holsters that I have tried in my 33.5 years of carrying concealed professionally, the Vedder is unlike the other bulky brands. The other brands make their holsters with cheap PLASTIC and/or non adjustable waistband clips. They also attach other crap gadgets to the holster (ie. “sidecar”). It makes carrying IWB so much more uncomfortable, compared to Vedder.
      -The Vedder LightTuck also accommodates the larger and/or adjustable “target” sights found on guns that are designed to co-witness with red dot type optics, if that’s your thing.
      -You can also order the LightTuck to be cut to accommodate an optic if you so desire. (Personally, I can’t stand a bulky glass optic on an EDC concealable firearm, but that’s just me).
      Anyway, no I don’t work nor benefit in any way from endorsing Vedder’s light tuck. I do own over 20 of them for different firearms. I just know a great product when I see and use one daily.
      **My one and only “negative:”
      It’s cost. Since the price of everything has gone up, the cost of their Light Tuck is super expensive. When I first started buying their holsters, it was at least 1/3rd the price (during the Trump economic boom). But, it’s truly is a product that you buy once and cry once. It will last a lifetime. I have thought about buying cheaper, then I realized that you get what you pay for. I’m sticking with the LightTuck.
      The key to helping with cost is to wait for their “15%” and sometimes “20%” off sales. Usually around every holiday, their holsters go on sale with a code, right in their website. So i ALWAYS wait for a holiday to buy a new Vedder if I need one. It literally seems that they have them going on sale once per month. No joke.

      @@colt10mmsecurity68 my main concern is that my G20 is a gen5. There are some pretty key differences between 5 and 4 such as ambidextrous mag release, serrated slide near the barrel tip, serrated notches on the slide release, beveled edges on the slide itself, and so on. Their website didn't mention anything about the one I ordered being gen5 supported so I will have to see and maybe make some modifications. Thanks for all that information though that is helpful and most people recommend them highly. I paid the $70 for it which yes expensive but quality and performance is definitely more important in a gun carry application.

    • @666-y8w
      @666-y8w 3 года назад +1

      You gotta keep your Glock 20!!! Get a Glock 21 slide and throw it on your G20 when you feel like it. Also, the Glock 20 can be converted to shoot several other calibers by simply swapping out the barrel. Down the road, you can pick up a longer KKM barrel and now you have a Glock 40 with a barrel that can shoot lead all day long.

      @@tiffanilege844 I've had it for about 8 years, and I bought it used. They hold up well. I carry it every day and have shot over 1,000 rounds through it. I did replace the springs when I bought it. My Gock 20 was made in 1991, so it was just time for new springs. It's around $10 for springs and takes 10 minutes to swap them out. Also, the Glock 20 will shoot 40 S&W ammo safely and accurately. I've fired hundreds of 40's in my Glock 20.

  • @Renaldo135
    @Renaldo135 3 года назад

    I have both and believe it or not I' prefer to carry the G20. It's balanced better and shoots softer. Also thank you for mentioning Underwood and Buffalo Bore, too many people don't know what a good 10mm round is and end up shooting 40sw powered 10mm target loads. Big difference. Do yourself a favor before you go bear hunting with the 20. Use heavy cast lead 200 or 220 buffalo bore or Underwood rounds and buy a longer aftermarket barrel for it. Wolf, Alpha Wolf or KTM six and a half inch barrel is worth the extra power and work better with hard-cast rounds.

    If you like 10mm, you should check out Liberty Civil Defense 60gr ammunition. It flies at 2400fps and it does 740 foot pounds if energy with massive fragmentation and about 11 inches of penetration. Not to mention it is extremely light to carry around all day, at more than half the weight of traditional hollow points. It feels like you're carrying around an unloaded gun weight-wise. It flies so fast and dumps the energy so quick! Being a lighter bullet, it also grants 38% reduced felt recoil so you can get more shots on target quicker. I can't recommend it enough. It's what I daily carry in my Bond Arms derringer 3'. There's a really good, really short video put out by Liberty called "Liberty Civil Defense 10mm Ballistics clear gel test" that shows just how amazing this round is. I have searched far and wide and haven't found anything better for carry, unless of course you're just wanting to hunt bear and need high grain ammo. Anyway, love the content! Just thought I'd mention the ammo since you seem to love 10mm as much as me. Have a good one.
