Don’t waste your money buying this, after futher testing, we’ve find that this method only works for 8 minutes then stops. This isn’t a XIM APEX (or Strikepack) bug. It’s disconnecting because the DS4 doesn’t have the correct authentication keys and even though it’s working for a little bit, after 8 minutes, the PS5 will reject the device. This is why you currently need a PS4 “specialty” controller since those do have the correct keys. It could be that the Strikepack presents itself as PS4 specialty controller but since a DS4 is connected the correct authentication keys aren’t available. In any case, unfortunately this solution doesn’t work for too long.
Authentication for PS5 games does work due to XIM APEX's beta firmware, but the APEX will crash shortly afterwards. Don't buy a Strikepack for this purpose, it does not work for more than a few minutes.

There's definitely a reliability issue here HH. I'm getting white LED on APEX (indicating corruption) after a short while. It can be after a minute or two, while idling or while playing. Further testing is required.

Yes it’s happening for a few people, try updating your Strikepack Firmware to the 2.02. If that doesn’t work maybe the Xim Apex firmware needs a few tweaks, XIM Central said that they forwarded this video to the Xim Devs hopefully they come up with a quick hotfix!

If there isn’t a PS5 Version then you’re good, just plug a PS4 Regular Controller on the Xim Apex, but if there is a PS5 Version and you want to play 120FPS then you’ll need a Ps4 3rd party controller!

Hello, the diference is framerate, for example Rainbow Six Siege Ps4 version you get only 60Fps, and Ps5 you get 120fps, But some games like you mentioned Mw2019 the developers optimize it. But 99% of the ps4 games you will not get 120fps Other games like GTA 5, FIFA 23 you don’t get crossplay with Ps4 users, so that makes people want to play Ps5 version of the games

I am able to connect my strike pack to my xim and it works perfectly fine. The issue is that it doesnt let me use th mods on my mnk. Any ideas aroud that.

Yes, but this method isn’t efficient since it only works for 8minutes, if you want to play Ps5 games the StrikePack I’ll recommend you getting CronusZen it works really well, but you will need a 3rd party controller like the Hori tac mini or some other 3rd party controller

Yeah it’s happening to some people, make sure your strikepack firmware is on the 2.02 version, if that doesn’t work im guessing is something on the Xim Apex firmware l’ve fowarded this video to XIM Central, maybe the Xim devs will tweak the firmware alittle bit and come up with an hotfix! But we’re on the right track, maybe try messing up with it and see what works maybe changing the DS4 Controller ect...
Hey brother, yes the extra frames are totally worth it, but just make sure your monitor/TV supports 120Hz otherwise it’s a waste of money, but if you have 120hz display & the money totally worth it. As far as the mods ok the strikepack, no they don’t work, also this setup doesn’t work no more i pinned a comment saying it

Hey brother, yes the extra frames are totally worth it, but just make sure your monitor/TV supports 120Hz otherwise it’s a waste of money, but if you have 120hz display & the money totally worth it. As far as the mods ok the strikepack, no they don’t work, also this setup doesn’t work no more i pinned a comment saying it

@@Nono_PassTek for 4K120Hz u need hdmi 2.1, but for 1080p120Hz u don’t, but i use the hdmi cable that comes with the Ps5 on the box, I think it’s a 2.1 cable, but my monitor doesn’t support 2.1, so it caps at 1.4 I believe but i get 1080p120Hz flawlessly!
