    Video shows that “resetting” the fire with an exterior offensive attack allows for cooler interior conditions. By straight streaming the ceiling and producing large water droplets without the possibility of evaporation without disrupting the ventilation process. Good job young jedi

    Good knock. Good to see you knock it down before entry. I been doing this for 30 plus and always darkened the fire before entry. You running with 1 1/2 or 1 3/4

    The thing with fires in Attics is not just the roof beams and tar paper but all the junk stored up there as well.

    Do you know how the fire started?

    • @Firefighter125
      @Firefighter125  5 лет назад

      Blocky Gaming The report indicates the high probability it was an electrical outlet. You can see it arcing on the video when we make entry into the room if you look closely. They we’re having problems with it previously also.

    Not knocking on you at all, but why are you clipped in breathing air in the front yard? Save your air, it's your lifeline.

    • @Firefighter125

      Flash Over when the vid starts Chief asks if I was on air. I assumed he wanted me to be, as I was the only packed up firefighter on scene at the time. I firmly believed, we were going to make immediate rescue/entry to the occupied house. It wasn’t ecessary and entry was briefly delayed, as we learned they escaped out the back. We pushed up into the window instead, but I still would use air on that also. A lot of heat, smoke at that range. Chief reminds me to conserve and I unclip for a minute after the initial knock down attack and before entry. I feel like it was well managed for the situation and the multiple roles we must fill. No way am I pushing too deep into the structure on the same cylinder. Thanks for the comment! Stay safe. 👍
