Chuck Pagano," WTF, man. Why did you audible out of YOUR play?!" Pat MacAfee, "Polmalive was in the C Gap ready to send me into concussion protocol." Chuck, "Good call, kid. You just lived to fight another day."
For those of you that don't understand the context: The Colts had a fake FG play where Pat would run it to the left IF they were within 7 yards and on the left hash, because the C-Gap was "100% always open". He was excited to be getting his first TD, it was about to go down, and the team was hyped. But for SOME REASON, Troy Polamalu decided to hop into the C-Gap as Pat was giving his cadence, which obviously (and rightfully so) scared the shit out of him. So he made the right decision for his future and changed the play, although he never forgot how TP ruined his dream.

It sucks that Pat's own overexcitment about the "field goal" was what gave Troy that hunch to go to the c Gap. Troy was just one of a kind and a constant student of the game. Always finding ways to ruin your chances every week when he was on the field..
FURTHER CONTEXT FROM TP'S SIDE: The Steelers had already talked about needing to get a couple plays on film that they can use for later training and strategizing, reforming, etc., and at the LAST SECOND, Troy himself walked up to the coach on the sideline and reminded him about what they'd talked about before the game and that this was a great opportunity to get "X" play on film (whatever they called it lol) because Adam V isn't going to miss a 7 yard field goal, we might as well use this scenario to get the play on film. LOL!! So the coach agreed and Troy ran out there and took the C Gap straight away from Pat and his touchdown dream. IT WAS JUST A COINCIDENCE LOL!!
