This can be said for every singer in history: They change over time! Our voices are moving targets... Ever evolving in the midst of our changing tastes, influences and physical bodies.
As we listen to our favorite singers with this concept in our minds, we're tempted to point out the negative aspects of what we hear in the 'road worn' voices of our heroes ...And certainly, there are many singers out there who have bullied their once vibrant voices into something barely resembling their former glory.
But there are many vocalists out there (if you know where to look and how to listen) that have become more interesting and seasoned over time while maintaining or even enhancing their emotional and communicative potential of their singing! Enter Liam Gallagher. Starting with Oasis and then moving on to Beady Eyes and eventually his solo stuff, he comes into his own with each new stage of his career ...And "His Own" keeps getting better and better!
Let's break down the different segments of Liam's work, observe the quirks and tendencies of his different stages and be inspired in the very best way: How we can have a long, evolving and positive relationship with our singing!

One thing I've noticed about his voice is he utilizes zero vibrato. If he sings long notes he doesn't do the easy thing where you add vibrato, he just forces it regardless if it kills him.

Oasis have loads of fans still. Most of them are obsessed with Liam. It would be great if you could do an indepth video on his voice and how it was damaged over the years. You'd get a lot of views!
You say that he changed his voice but that was out of necessity. His signing voice was reall rough and croaky and he could barely hit any notes after the first few years. I think it was something to do with his singing style and lifestyle. But you'd obviously be able to really hone in on it.

I'm not really like a professional singer and more of a guitar player, that being my main instrument but Liam's vocal style has been a big help on pronunciation of the words and project the vocals better with my accent. Haven´t listened so much to his later stuff though and realise now that he´s not only a lot more refined than I thought, but also that I like his "older" voice a lot more.

4:40 is 95% of what you need to know to understand Liam's vocals ... Aggressive. He attacks songs. Just watch him recording Step Out.
Combined with his accent and method of trying to create a straight line from his lungs to his mouth, which sort of pushes the jaw out and creates a bit of gravel. Plus the way he pulls his lips back, which is part of his aggressive style.
Throw copious amounts of booze, cigarettes and coke at that and you get Liam's vocals. Trust me, his voice isn't entirely intentional.
It's part of the reason he's knackered his voice but it's totally worth it.

I think so, he had vocal problems as early as 96, theres a particular concert in USA where he was mid song and said "i cant, sorry when i sing is like punching a wall and i cant, is f**ed up", i dont know if it was the shouting, the posture or his overall habits while singing but he had a massive change after Be here now (got rid of shouting almost entirely). It was also around that time that noel started to sing more songs like shes electric, probably becase liam was not able to hit A4 and G4 as easily as before. Easy, just steal a lower class accent and don't be very good at it. For example, "All the people, so many people" becomes "Aww da pay-poowl, sow men-ay pay-poowl". If it doesn't sound patronising enough, just exaggerate more.
