I feel like this is the perfect balance for a commander YT game. You're not over produced like Game Knights and it's not a bunch of incoherent babbling like IHYD. It's a chefs kiss of damn good camera cuts, gameplay you can follow, and I get tit bits of advice and explanation every game. Hope this show grows like crazy 🤘🏻

I learned two things today. One, Breezy also loves Commando. He is correct. Commando is fabulous. Two, Bidney is hilarious. The line about watching your friends fight was GOLD.
Rewatched this so many times, still hilarious how Joe gets salty about Mutka's betrayal after basically doing the same thing when agreeing to "team up" with Beezy.
I do love lower powered games. It’s much more interesting to see decks that aren’t 90% staples. Like, we get it… mana crypt does damage to the person and let’s just skip the inevitable “I think my mana crypt has done more damage to me than anything else!” joke…

I agree. Cherries just made up a deal that never was made and was really salty that his imaginary deal was broken. Unless there was something edited out that we did not see that is. Mutka saying "I can't kill you both" is different from "I will kill beezy if you save me".

Could probably make a pretty decent Brudiclad deck for $20. Ink Treader Nephilim can get pretty silly, even on $10 (Assuming of course one can house rule it in, it's not technically a legendary). It's essentially Zada on roids.^^
idk if anyone has pointed this out but I personally really like the fact that you guys engage the camera/audience with little anecdotes and comments. I watch a lot of other content and no one does this to the same degree you guys do! (in a good way) Makes it feel more like oh ive been invited to watch! vs being a creepy fly on the wall lol. Some of if not the best MTG content on youbtube guys...really...its been amazing to watch this channel grow so much. - Stay awesome.
Cherries was absolutely hilarious this game. And I have to say so many comments about salt making me roll my eyes. Not everything is salt. When you’re playing with friends it’s ok to show annoyance etc. It’s a game people can feel a type of way about it. Doesn’t make them a bad player or a bad sport.

Love the light banter as well. Have you guys considered having some unorthodox deck building theme like everyone builds an archetype NOT in the color that is considered the most essential for it? Like, non-black graveyard, non-green landfall, or non-red burn? I think it would make for some really interesting commander choices as well as unexpected/rarely used cards being played to make some janky, entertaining game, and because it's you guys it'll be awesome no matter how trashy and clunky the decks are.
Only half way through but I will say I love Bidney's whole mood, would love to play a game against him. I hate that deck so far I just want to see Sevella do something.

What's the benefit of waiting to crack Evolving Wilds at 3:59 instead of just doing it right away? I'm also assuming he's doing that on Beezy's end step, though it wasn't said. I'm sure it's obvious, but I've only been playing for about a month.
In real life we shortcut that stuff or do it right away to save time, but we aren’t on screen when we’re just searching our library, so since there’s no time-saving element at play, we have everyone do it at the most “optimal” time which would be right before their turn when they have the most information about the boardstate :)

You're probably going to have a pretty bad mana base tbh. You won't get fetches, shocks, pain lands, etc. the only fixing you're going to get in your entire deck are the OG dual lands. Most of the other lands that cost that much are colorless.

Off the top of my head for a replacement idea lol: he who be the most risk taking of ye, the brave soul who runs the fewest lands, let that man have either fortune or hate bear upon him. I love wild swing-y political games like this! Something to keep in mind is what happens to leaves the battlefield *triggers* when a player dies. In this instance I don't think it had any impact on the game, but Atemsis is would not re-enter from the journey to nowhere trigger because Bidney was dead the trigger never hits the stack. With all the wacky interactions and keywords magic players have to keep track of in EDH, I regularly find misunderstandings about how to "resolve" the boardstate interactions when a player dies. I feel like I have to look up rules for "what happens when a player dies" pretty regularly because it's somehow not solidified in the collective rules understanding despite being a common occurrence in EDH. Compare it to "untap upkeep draw" or stages of the combat step or DEBT for protection which players at large do correctly (I think). Maybe this is a good topic for a future video? I think it'd be great to have another resource for the community at large to learn about player elimination in multi-player!
I think mutka actually did at least tried to upheld his end of the bargain, he actually tried to kill beezy, not accounting for blocks. Mutka never said he wouldn't do anything to Joe's board tho, its just like collateral damage cause of butcher of malakir lol. So TECHNICALLY Mutka did try actually try to upheld his bargain and not attack Joe at all. At least that's what I saw though, don't know if there was some other things that were edited out. But yeah overall GG solid Commander Entertainment.

Whoever draws a sol ring first off a random shuffle goes first. Record how many draws it takes for each player. Should be fun 😊
