Nice video, great explanation and advises. I'm starting to use the snatch grip dead lift in my workout... for now I use it as a warm up for conventional deadlift with lighter weights, just to activate my posterior chain and other muscles involved in dead lift. When I start to increase weights, I change to conventional deadlift and complete the workout with it. Do you think that is a smart way of using the snatch grip dl? I don't feel my grip is getting too wasted, since I don't go too heavy, and I like the feelingof it for now.
Hey! Thank you! If you like to use them for warmup before conventional I don't see an issue if they don't detract from your main conventional working set performance. It all comes down to what you prefer and what you prep best with! My only advice, if they ever start to compromise conventional performance, then scale back intensity and realign your exercise selection. Otherwise, let them rock as is if they help you get prepped! - Jake
Yeah, totally. When it comes to exercise order, the question of "is it okay" is multi-factorial. If you can perform them with the intensity that's programmed and they align with your goals, then keep rocking with them after squats. - Jake
