That came out great. I had a similar issue with the lights I put in my badai blockade runner build. Traced it down to a loose connection. Love what you did with the windshield.
Those curbside kits are more fun to paint. Nice work on yours, it's hard to get a nice gloss black finish. The dome light works well to show the figures inside.
I am a fan of Curbside builds. They are a fun relaxing build usually low parts count so they go quick. Also it's very easy to drop in lights and battery. I shy away from gloss black because of that. I think I'll be adding dome lights to all the builds I light. It doesn't take all that much more time.
Man abd again im so impressed with you!! Now i can say i know what it takes to wire just the headlites, But man you lit up the whole town this Green Hornet!! The figures sure did turn it up a notch as well! Congrats you came in 1st with my personal pick of what ive seen all week!! See ya in the shop Brother!!
Looks awesome. I thought I'd be happy with the 1:32 Black Beauty in my stash but now I really want this one. As for the LED turning purple, you may have driven too much current through it at some point. That is one possible side effect of LED overdrive. At least it did not pop.
Looks awesome Mark! Every time you mentioned the lights I expected to see my mane flash on the screen... LOL Did not see that clear green and led thing happening at all when we talked about it... Interesting 🤔😁 I have had 2 of those battery packs quit working, so yes it happens... Awesome job as always my friend! LLAP 🖖
Love the details, fantastic job!! By the way, the Green Hornet’s name is Britt Reid, not Reeves. And a little trivia, he is the grandnephew of John Reid, the Lone Ranger.
Very nice job on the lighting, looks terrific. Do you have issues with the polish settling in the crevices and hard to remove even with a sharp toothpick? You may need another button battery power source if you want all 4 headlights to come on.😊
Thank you. I do have issues with that. Sometimes I've even used damp pointed Q-Tips to wet it and then dig it out with a toothpick. I had more than enough power to run all the lights. What happened is the front LED shorted out straight to ground and just choked all the rest of the lights off. I changed it after the video and it's all good now. I've run 10 LEDs for over 8 hours on a single CR2032 battery. These tiny guys are bright, but sure don't drink the juice.
Awesome job Mark! The Black Beauty is really a beauty 😅. But how that windshield turns purple is gonna require someone with more knowledge of the color wheel. All i know is that it looks cool both ways!
@grandpamarkshobbies I took some color tinting classes when automotive painting and that one has me stumped. Even to say it's the light reflecting off the black interior doesn't make sense. Let me know what they say!
I decided I am going to add lights to all of my builds now. That’s the best green hornet I’ve seen
Thank you very much. This is a good one to start doing LEDs. Lots of room to work.
Hell of a build!!!! The green Hornet TV always seems to get over looked, I always thought it was fun!!! Again, love your work!!!!
Thank you very much. I always liked the Green Hornet when I was growing up.
7 Bodies and 11 LED's ......I Like Your "Thinking" 🤣🤣🐶👍✔️
I'm cracking up. Thank you very much.
Dash and door panels look great.
Body and undercarriage look awesome.
Britt Reed would be proud.
Have a great week. 😊
Thank you very much.
The green hornet looks awesome!😎👍
Thank you very much.
Amazing build mark. Love the green lights! That was a good choice to not paint the roof. I liked the look.
Thank you
Thank you very much. Yeah, that roof is awesome just the way it is. Those lights are so cool with the room lights off.
That's royally cool! Great job, Mark!
Thanks TJ. That was a really quick build. Kind of needed that after that big one.
Great looking build, Mark….live that green wind shield!!
Thank you very much. That glass was a first for me. Now I want to do the wind shades that were on cars in the late 60s early 70s. LOL
Another cool build. Thanks, Mark.
Thank you.
Very cool build like the lights being lit up.
Thank you very much..
Turned out really nice! Thanks for sharing and have a great day!
Thank you very much.
Such a cool build! Diggin’ all the extra work and details. Thanx for the tip about Kato. Got this kit waiting in the wings.
Thank you very much. I almost had that side glued in too. LOL It would be a pain if I did.
Very cool love the light show. Another great video
Thank you very much.
Wow that was fast and it looks awesome. Mine is on hold for a minute. Nursing a back injury. Thanks for sharing David
Oh man. . . Get well. Back problems are a bugger.
@grandpamarkshobbies thank you. Going on day 6 feeling better but not there yet. God bless
Totally understand. It takes a while for a back. Just watch and try and not push it when you start feeling good. Did that once.
Excellent !! Looking good Mark
Thank you very much.
That came out amazing great work. 👍🏻
Thank you very much.
That came out great. I had a similar issue with the lights I put in my badai blockade runner build. Traced it down to a loose connection. Love what you did with the windshield.
Thank you very much. Yeah. Sometimes those small LEDs can make you scratch your head. LOL This one went dead short. I've never had that happen before.
Another great job. We'll done.
Thank you very much.

Thanks buddy. With all of you guys helping me along these builds come out ok. You should see how this looks with the lights off.
Looks great. Good job.
Thank you very much.
Nice job, looks great!!
Thank you very much.
Great job sir!

Thank you very much. The LED is still shining white, the glass just looks purple through the clear green paint.
@@grandpamarkshobbies Ok, now you've got me. I have no idea why that would happen. Must be the work of one of the Green Hornet's villains.
LOL. Right!!
Really cool brother 😊
Thank you so much.
Very nice 😎😁
Thank you very much.
Cool model.
Thank you very much.
great job
Thank you very much.
Very cool
Thank you very much.

LLAP 🖖
Thank you very much. The battery pack is still good, the one LED is shorted out.
Looks fantastic! Too bad you ended up with a shorted headlight. Love the green windshield. Your spraying layers looks nice and transparent.
Thank you very much. The way I did this kit I'll be able to go back in and change it.
@ good planning, if you need to go back inside!
Yes. I always try and make it where I can fix what I do.
Nicely done! I would flat the suits on the figures for more realism.
Thank you very much. I don't know why it showed up so shiny on the camera, it is MUCH flatter than that.
I glad that you can do good lighting on your models.at least you have the time to do them.are you gonna enter them in any model contest.
Thank you very much. I will take it to the show, but don't expect to win anything. It's just for fun.
Love the details, fantastic job!! By the way, the Green Hornet’s name is Britt Reid, not Reeves. And a little trivia, he is the grandnephew of John Reid, the Lone Ranger.
Thank you very much. I knew it was Reid. Brain just not working. My Great uncle played James Reid as well as Tonto on the radio.

Thank you very much. That purple caught me by surprise. I am going to have to ask the art teachers at work about that one.
@grandpamarkshobbies I took some color tinting classes when automotive painting and that one has me stumped. Even to say it's the light reflecting off the black interior doesn't make sense. Let me know what they say!
LOL. Now I don't feel so bad. I am totally clueless. If I find anything out I'll post it for sure.
👍👍👌👌
Thank you very much.
Bitchin. Looks great
LOL. Thank you very much.
