Guest Characters peaked with Pepsiman. Also, fun fact that somebody's probably already mentioned: The "Sonic character" in the intro is a Sonic version of Honey, one of the characters on the roster. The Fighting Vipers devs put Sonic (with Tails as his alt) as a joke, and Yuji Naka allowed them to make a full Sonic fighting game (Sonic the Fighters). Honey was meant to be a guest character (Honey the Cat), but got taken out for whatever reason. The XBLA and PSN versions reinstate her.
And if you look to Honey's right in the intro you can see the rocket Tails built to fly the player to the Death Egg stage in Sonic the Fighters, as well as most of Bark the Polar Bear standing behind her.

playing SIlhouette Mirage on Saturn was kind of a bad idea bcause the game is also on PS1 where it was properly localised. the whole game is actually kinda hard to understand without proper explanation. hell even after everything is explained i still cant quite get around the whole Blue and red system.
How is the PS1 version compared to the Saturn version though? One thing the Saturn excelled on better than the PS1 and N64 was 2D games, since it was intended as a 2D system that was messily jury-rigged into doing 3D. It has more RAM by default (pretty important for games to load all their sprite data in) and had the option of a RAM expansion (which you can see being apparently one of the options you can choose when the game first starts). A lot of 2D fighters at the time were much better in their Saturn ports then PS1 ports... and some (Like Darkstalkers 3) had a LOT of sprite frames removed from the PS1 version to make them fit on the console.
Caz's Gaming Clips The PS1 version is great despite some graphical effects not appearing in that version. It even had two extra bosses and a two player minigame after you complete all 5 paths (which isn’t hard to do since the game is short for the most part).
It doesn't help that it was localized by Working Designs, who had a habit of rebalancing games as they saw fit. A number of systems work a bit differently in their version as opposed to the original game design, and nearly every weapon besides the default was altered to the point where only the default weapon is really viable.
