One of the progenitors of a large well known family came here over a supposed killing in Missouri, involving a dispute at a dance over a girl. After many years a relative found his whereabouts and told him that the other young man he had had the dispute with was alive. On hearing this, he returned to Missouri, sought the other fellow out, apologized, and the two had a long visit before he returned home.

One of my all time heroes was George Roger's Clarke, older brother to William Clarke of the Lewis and Clark expedition. That must have been an amazing family. What happened to the Espinoza family happened all over the South when the federal armies invaded in 1861-1864. Southern civilians, often in winter months, had their possessions looted, their homes, barns and farm tools burned and livestock stolen or killed, crops burned, even mills where Southerners ground their corn destroyed, such that thousands of defenseless women, children and old people were left without shelter, food or clothing to survive the winter. Many thousands of civilians died at the hands of the Yankees, who were, toward the end of the War, often criminals released from prison by Lincoln to serve in the federal armies.
Cavalry (from French cavalerie, cf. cheval 'horse') or horsemen were soldiers or warriors who fought mounted on horseback. Cavalry were historically the most mobile of the combat arms. Most often the Law Enforcement Officers whom perform well will bring to mind the ilthought, "it's a fine line between law enforcement and the criminal elements", so much so, they trip and land on the other side. The laws are man made and largely of an effort to Legislate Social Morality (in every case this is in direct opposition to the freedoms of our idea of USA Democracy/Freedom - it is Dictatorial and can easily lead to the very dictating of One's Beliefs, Religion Choices. They may not be something I would chose - but they are subjects we can't pick and choose or we aren't allowing true Freedom of Choice) So many create the elements of criminal behavor's opportunities and we would be far better served by allowing and applying a structure of managing. Much greater outcomes.
There are no recountings to this gentleman in this presentation except by other white men. There are some very significant historical facts about all of the places that this gentleman lived that are not honorable. There are historical references of people who accused native American tribes of what we are signifying this man wonderful for. A female and a child put on display to justify fear. In 2023 how can we trust that was a true depiction? Joseph Smith followers after all we're trying to justify why so much territory should be assigned to them yet denied. There are twenty women to one man is a disturbing fact that everyone is over looking. This is one critical race theory in school should be thought of as very valuable. A white-collar criminal apprehension? The fear of outlaws and humiliations justified his murderous behaviors and theft? He faked a citizenship because?
