HOW TO TEST DIESEL INJECTION PUMP SOLENOID VALVE FULL VIDEO

This video is teaching how to test an injection pump solenoid.
To test the injection pump solenoid, things you need is 12V car battery, cable and then injection pump solenoid.
Testing of the solenoid you are checking if the solenoid valve is going to shoot out or not, if the the solenoid valve shoot out then is good but if it doesn't then it has damage and you need to replace it. After testing and you notice that the solenoid is good but the pump doesn't pump out diesel into the combustion chamber or the injectors then you need to service the pump or you replace it.

Now if the solenoid doesn't shoot when testing, the truck won't start but still with the quick start it will without the solenoid?

Yes it will start if you do it direct without the solenoid
