Our red and white husky Phoenix's TPLO surgery recovery has been going so well! She amazes me every day! She just got her staples out and the techs were amazed by how well she was walking already. We've been using a sling/lift harness to help her walk since recovery day 1. Here I show you how it works and how she is able to walk and go to the bathroom with it.

Our dog Phoenix has been living with idiopathic epilepsy since she was 2 years old. We manage it with daily medication and a strict diet. She can do everything a non-epi dog can and will sass you while doing it! Epileptic dogs can live awesome and normal lives and Phoenix is proof! She is also a bionic dog, having had a metal plate surgically installed to stabilize her knee after she tore her ACL. She is my actual hero.

She was on the kill list at a shelter in New York City after she was labeled un-adoptable. Husky House pulled her from the list and thank goodness they did because she became the most helpful member of the family.
