Hey Stu! I was wondering if you could do an instructional and anatomical video on the ujjayi breath and the best technique to use it with the bandhas Thank you 🙏🏽
I really like the kind of attention you give to micro-level-details. Helps to focus on those during practice. I always find your explanations meaningful and useful. One request on regarding this video though. Please make a small correction in the title. Change 'Tiranga' to 'Trianga'. Yes, they are anagrams, but meanings are very different. Tirang means three colors; and Trianga means three angas i. e. three parts. In Sanskrit, even a small change can alter the meaning. Hence this request.
Thanks Stu, love the anatomical knowledge and options. So many different bodies coming into my classes and need more options for less ROM with no props :/ obvs easier to work with people who have more ROM.
Everyone spells the name of this pose differently than Yoga Mala. Some say 'Triang', which eludes to it having relations with the 3 nodes of a triangle. You have spelled Tirang, which actually is nearer to Pattabhi Jois' 'Tiriang'. The name i believe refers to a single lege being folded while in a sitting forward bend. You have also used the term 'Eka' which appears to mean 'single' or 'first', but Jois spells in Yoga Mala it as Tiriangmukhaikapada Paschimattanasana.
Very well explained. Thank you 🙏
this was super helpful, thank you!
I DIG asana school. Helping this ageing newbie out a lot in figuring out why I am unable to pretzel myself. Thank you, Stu! x
Thank you Stu. Love your view on alignment. Very important point but sometimes forgotten.
