I can't finish games either, I think that's normal to a degree. So I attended the trijam, which is a game jam that gives you the opportunity to take your time as you have time and not crunch a whole weekend. I can only recommend it!

Nice, i once, having made tens if not hundred prototypes, thought ok I will finish a simple pong game. I guess the main mechanics and ai was an interesting half hours, but the rest polish was an excruiciating time of doing all the rest. I heard new projects should grow gradually, and that is probably why the next TowerDefence or even Breakout got so out of hand, I was to naive and blinded by the tools and little things.
I really hope you can hold this fire dear continue the path. I DO wish to return to gamedev now, and Timothy Cain is probably one of the brightest stars of discoveries lately with his videos. The "game documentation" video was such a banger. Anyway best to you man! Subbed!
