Costa Cruises 90s Promo Video (Costa Riviera)

Promotional video from the early 90s showcasing Costa Cruises before the Carnival takeover. The video features many images of the Costa Riviera (former Guglielmo Marconi) which sailed for the line from 1983-2001.

We sailed in CostaRiviera in 87, we had such a wonderful time. This video seems so dated... The ship was so simple.. no crazy water slides etc.. Just beautiful wide decks and flashy lounges and a nice conncection to the ocean.. She was outclassed by the newer vessels with their balconies and such, but what a wonderful classic ship she was...

Pensar que estuvimos 2 veces y lo disfrutamos enormemente,estos viajes nunca los voy a olvidar,y hay una película en super 8 que por ahí debe de andar ue compré de los principales momentos en uno de los viajes .Que lindo que pudimos divertirnos cuando podíamos..

Yay! A new video! Even though the old Costa cruises made it quite clear their target audience was the grey hairs and more “relaxed” crowd…

When I went down to Florida last year to welcome the new Mardi Gras to Port Canaveral I stopped at a thrift shop. At the thrift shop I found a hurricane glass from Costa Riviera. :) I still have it.
