Dan it is amazing to see the incredible effort you put into your 'full reset.' It's one thing to hear about your journey, but seeing it visually presented here truly highlights the magnitude of this transformation. This video not only showcases your dedication and resilience but also serves as a powerful source of inspiration for everyone watching. Thank you for sharing your story this way and reminding us all that with hard work and the right guidance, we can achieve remarkable changes in our lives.
A sure sign that something works, is working or will work, the devil will send any and everyone to tell you it won’t. Glad you kept pushing and didn’t listen. You looked absolutely incredible. The journey you chased has become my new journey to chase. Thanks. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
So relatable I started at 221. I lost 16 lb the first week. I'm now down to 185 over about 4 weeks and I'm 42. It really can happen for anybody if you have the right discipline and self-drive. I applaud you sir.🎉
I’m a 62 yo woman , that has been in and out of the fitness as a novice…prior military and most of my family, closes to me, could care less about being real health conscience…I’m better off by setting my lifestyle change in action, without telling any of my family what my plans and goals are, because there’s no accountability or motivation to help me move forward. I just have to plan and go in hard and when I need help with consistency or meal prep etc, then I turn to channels like this or someone knowledgeable in the gym…”Keep it moving forward”. I don’t want to be an aging individual burdening the population or my family.
Bro!!!!! This is the best transformation I’ve ever seen!! The hunger & fatigue when you get that lean is next level!!! The one thing that surprised me was no seasonings and no salt? Especially the salt? Because salt doesn’t have calories? And seasonings barely have “calories” but you can EASILY fit them in your plan while getting shredded! I mean unless you’re eating like a whole ranch packet or something! Still though.. You really don’t have to worry about either of those until peak week? But you still look incredible! Super happy for you! Very inspiring!
Persistence in 2000 I was 19 years old I weighed no joke 590lbs and started training In 2024 I reached 385lbs at age 42 I still desire to lose 110lbs but I know im a big muscular person with 3ft across person. That's why my most disliked word ever is When and Time
@venetkamarinova8500 changed my eating workout 4 nights a week for 21 years and remember it took time to put on weight it might take that much or more time to take off that weight
Congratulations Dan. You look amazing. Really awesome video! Inspiring to say the least and as you know I’m on the same journey. 💪 Thank you 🙏 and I think thanks for introducing me to Alan? During the workouts I hate the guy but after he is cool. 😅
I’ll be 53 on Monday 8th.already started my journey to be the best version of myself. I quit alcohol this year. Nearly 7months in feeling great. This has given me the extra motivation for the next push. Thanks Dan
“I swallowed my gum because I was that hungry” 😂 - been there! Love to see this Dan 🙌🏽 It’s fascinating how so many people fall into the cardio trap when looking to transform their bodies, still see this all the time as a trainer. Talk about limiting beliefs, a fitness journey will expose them all.
Thanks Dan, really inspirational I'm not overweight but want to get to low body fat and see if I can push myself for the next 90 days, which will mean Christmas Day I will allow myself to have a treat. Great to see your amazing transformation and see the reward for all your hard work and sacrifice, from New Zealand
Very motivating thank you. 26:22 when i gave up alcohol and focussed on losing weight and getting fitter i lost a lot of friends. I guess we only had 1 thing in common. I was a little bitter initially as i wasn’t preaching that they had to do what i was doing but then i chilled and realised everyone has to find their own way through life.
This is absolutely amazing Dan! Congrats on your journey! I'm an actor and I've gained weight trying to build my independent film production studio and my new film festival over the last two plus years but just started my 90-Day journey to not the "old fit me" , but the new me and can't wait to share and be a the peak in my industry! Thanks for sharing!!
0:50 immediately my ears turned on. I’ve overcome this 13 years ago. I am the same way, ultimately channeled this empty feeling with the gym and staying active. And yes food to celebrate. Staying in good shape has def been essential to my success in this and in business
Hit the 200 pound, cannot train right for some operation recovery but lost already 12 pounds in 1 month removing junk food from the job cafeteria and doing 5:2 fasting. Can't wait to hit the gym. Your video is very inspiring.
It’s you’re doing the right thing 80-85% of the time that’s not discipline. 100% is. And to anyone that says that it’s nonsense doesn’t understand and probably never won anything or have done anything substantial. Motivation is a fool’s game. It comes and goes and so will your results. You have to be borderline maniacal in this game
That was one helluva transformation. I’m 45 and just got back on the grind a week ago. Feeling better already, but this has inspired me to step it up a notch.
Fantastic work Dan! A new level to play at. New energy for everything you do! My story: I started at 218 lbs on July 30, 2023, and I am now at 196 lbs as of August 14, 2024. I plan to continue with cutting and two maintenance phases to reach 183 lbs. From there, I'll make new decisions focusing on % Skeletal Muscle and % Body Fat. Bringing something that I never controlled under my direction feels so empowering. I loved your video! I could feel your pain and growth! You are an inspiration Dan!
That is awesome! I’ve wanted to do this for a couple years now. I’ve been studying everything I can about metabolism because even though I just want to push and push, I have a hard time because I was in a car accident that left me with a back injury. Maybe I’ll be able to build. It’s been super hard, 3 day fasts, trying to figure out the right amount and intensity of cardio, etc. But I’m going to make it no matter what! My friends and family will say, “Oh you don’t need that.” Well, I’ve struggled with my weight my whole life. I lost a lot of weight but those abs, I’ve never gotten there. I was never the kid with the fast metabolism that gained weight as the years went by. Quite the opposite, I got fed up! I learned how to manage my macros and meal prep. I lost 50 lbs in 2 months. The fitness guys still can’t believe it! But still, I never had visible abs.
That's a fantastic transformation, which deserves respect. You didn't look bad to begin with to be honest with you, just normal really. There are people in far worse shape than you were in to start with, so anybody out there who looks that way, get fitter and leaner by all means but don't worry too much.
The hardest part for sure as Dan says it’s the social issue. That’s exhausting the amount of shit and blowback you have to deal with. Dan thanks man for proving it’s what’s necessary and this is the way it’s done. It really motivates. Dan are you doing any physiotherapy or sports massages? One of my issues is (42), is periodic mini injuries which causes me to slow down on progressive overload.
I'm motivated! I weighed in at 244 this morning and I'm 6'3". My plan is to run an iron man sprint April 6 of next year in Galveston and my goal is to be under 200 (195). I was a Marine and I went from all state varsity my senior year to marine corps bootcamp at 185. I came out 185 but super skinny so I know my fighting weight is probably 195. Your journey is so familiar to me too. 7 years sober myself. Thanks for the motivation!!!
This is a dope video, thank you for the motivation. I start my 21 day challenge this week. I see now I have to make some adjustments and go hard for 90 days. I definitely will see great results. I’m hyped and excited for what’s about to happen. Let’s Go!!!
Its ironic that at like 17:28 in the video when your working hardest and and pushing through pain and muscle failure, that Poison- nothing but a good time is playing in the background.Keep up the good work
Amazing video. Usually the "rich guy works out" videos don't do it for me. But you showed an approach that is practical and you showed the ups and downs. Great work! 💯
Great job man! Tons of disipline needed to achieve that status. I'm on my way back to it at the moment @ 44yo. My Fatboy weight in Feb 2024 was 235 height of snowboard season, with beer, wings and burgers. Currently at 204 shooting for 190. Hold strong fella's, stick to your plan and execute it.
Tinus from South Africa. Well done man!! I am 47 started training 5 months ago. Now starting super sets full body weight training and cardio because I can't see that change I want yet. I will definately loose the salt and sugar. Thanks bro. Again well done!!
I don’t usually comment on videos but this video was really inspiring. I’m recently separated and am trying to get back in shape. I’m starting at about 29% body fat at about 215 lbs. Seeing your transformation really motivates me to adjust my goal to not just lose some belly fat and gain more muscle. I want to completely change my body and have the lifestyle to maintain it. I’m glad that I came across this video and your story. Thank you for sharing your journey.
Just turned 62...Was heavy for 25 years due to bad diet, alcohol and depression. In 2012 was 290 lbs...JUST started walking in 2012...Then nutrition...Resistance training AND STRETCHING! weighed 174 this morning. IT CAN BE DONE!
Dan, that was an inspiring video! My takeaway is you have to be willing to consistently put yourself through extreme discomfort, like the old adage “no pain no gain.” I like your trainer’s philosophy about “lift the same look the same.” I have two questions: Where can I learn more details on your diet and how many days of recovery before you hit the same muscle?
This was a great story and I watched it in full. Well done, my friend - you put in the work, reset and grew your belief system, and look f'n great. Keep it up and thank you for sharing.
I feel ya dude. I'm 7 years clean from heroin and meth. I learned how to walk again 6 years ago after an accident and am now getting back in shape. It's not at all easy but I'm skateboarding again and am back to it!
Incredible transformation, and I’m glad to see the level of intensity required to get those changes. I’ve gotten incredible results following you & Alan so far, but after seeing this, I think I’ve only been giving 95% … time to step it up 💪
240 last Sunday 7-7-24, not working out at all, just on Keto. I entered Ketosis 7-10-24, and now 7-13-24 im at 232. Goal is 195-200 asap. Im 43. Wish me luck 👇🏻
Wow, vraiment incroyable! Thanks for sharing, I’m 50 and on the same track but not pushing as hard as you. I just realized I have to kick it up a few notches
Omg I loved this. Thank you as a 49 year old woman I really needed to see this today. I have everything else in my life but the one thing I need and want is to get ripped. Thank you so much for documenting this
Your transformation is mind blowing and the sacrifices you made to get yourself to your goal along with remaining consistent AF on your workouts and very strict diet shows that anyone is capable of making serious and significant changes for their fitness and long term health goals if they want bad enough are willing to do whatever it takes to achieve it. Also didn't really get to see too much in this video what your personal trainer had you do as far as Abs training or was it more so directly a result of all the fasted cardio you had to do to get to your goal weight and body fat percentage?
Hello from Gatlinburg TN Smoky Mountains Park 🌄..I've lost 110 lbs but I gained 30 over the years but I'm trying to lose it, get back and THIS video motivated the hell out of me! I have a RUclips channel too and trying to look better and motivate others to get moving 💪🌄🏞️🐻
I'm on a similar mission and the thing I struggle with is socialising. This really affects my discipline and routine. So I'm doing things that you spoke about like taking my own food to dinner parties and refusing to drink any alcohol. It's really hard but I'm fucking enjoying my new look and I'm not going back to feeling self conscious at the pool when my kids are asking me to come in. 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
Great work man!!! I just did it too. I’ve lost 55 pounds and I’m down to 198 and 9 percent body fat. Your video was awesome and describes what I experienced perfectly.
Sick transformation Dan! Well done 🏆 You don’t need to cut out sodium though! Sodium only makes you gain water weight when it’s inconsistent. For instance avoiding it then having a meal with lots of sodium will make you gain water weight. If you had of just kept it consistently high throughout the whole 90 days by salting every meal your body would have adjusted within a few days and water retention would not be an issue. And you would have felt way better and performed better in the gym with better pumps. Loved the video!
I'm 43 5'8" 161 around 11-13% Body fat after I lost 30lbs I just eat lean calories at a 1600 calories max, lower salt, lower sugar and let myself have what I want in moderation since I cut starch, bread to once a week naturally don't drink alcohol, eating out is a once a week with family or less. I workout mostly running 10k 3 to 4x a week calisthenics, dumbbells, jump rope, and Peleton. the goal is to keep track of what I eat and junk food at only a serving size since I got a sweet tooth 😅 Im on my way to 6 figures in Lawncare in my paid off car, 2nd year in 2025 Ill make post & updates, I also use Roadie for around $3 to $500 delivery days optimizing efficient routes with a rental van
Dan you still look fit before the start of your journey ( above 80% population) but you still did it and you are a great example of upgrading yourself no matter if you are 17 or 70 .
I did it all by my self I study my body try everything I found what I need it. This was the greatest moment in my life in which I found my self at all levels. You can do all you just need to study how your body works and very important training your brain and is the must important part. It is all mental. Now I can train anyone because I didn’t all by my self. It is brutal 😊
Dan this is outstanding journey and transformation. Massive Respect💪 Just curious, do you have maybe step by step written down in points from day 1 for people like me who want to start this journey😃
Was hoping to see you mention your journey with TRT, nothing wrong with it if it’s needed. Just need to set proper expectations for people who are older and let them know you did it with TRT. Most men your age will have low T and this will be very hard to achieve.
Wtg Dan! This is inspiring! I'm doing a 90 day also. Going from 223 to 207. Maybe I should turn it up a little and shoot for 200? It is really mentally tough when you hit the wall, dehydrate yourself not lose weight etc. Especially when you're two months in. Im going to hit the goal two fuks of what the odds are. Thanks for sharing.
Your introduction is me all my life. All time low in my life right now and 226 pounds. Was always 170-180. Could you please tell me the first few day's cleanse protocol besides 2 days of tomato juice? Great video and subscribed. Cheers from Quebec.
New Identify- 100% Dan! At our company, I made a bet with 2 guys who also struggled with their weight. We put $500 on the line and I upped the ante by sharing it company wide what our target was. In the first 2 weeks, we had great success and then, like you, we plateaued. It wasn't till we got down to the last 20 days that we recommitted to the weight loss (for me, the gym and cardio has always been there- it was 100% on food, salt and snacking). My goal was 195 (from 217) a weight I haven't been since grade 12 (now 45). Funny enough, we're vacationing in Kelowna in 2 weeks and will be first time since having kids that I'll be confident on the beach. It is the new identity. Sharing publicly and having people you're accountable to- is the only way I was able to stay on track. Thank you for sharing Dan
You should probably hire Greg Doucette to help you maintain your physique. His training regime doesn't require you to stay away from healthy foods that actually taste good. You're more likely to stay the course on a diet if you actually enjoy the food you're eating. Eating foods you don't like is one of the reasons most people quit a diet.
51 year old male. Never looked fit; been pudgy since childhood. 5 years ago I was 5’9” @ 230#. Currently under 160# and 13-15% body fat. No money for a trainer. Shooting for 11-13% by my 52nd birthday in four weeks
You got this!
But also, go make some money :D
You can do it!!!
Just stop, you're in the healthy range. Now focus on building functional strength with calisthenics' or Jiu-Jitsu training.
Congrats! It’s all in your mind if you don’t mind it don’t matter. You don’t need a trainer brotha YOU can train yourself like you have.

That's absolute bs. No way did you lose 36 lb in 4 weeks. Did you literally not eat anything for the entire time?
It’s not bs, I’ve cut 30 in a month for a fight and did it pretty easy

Great inspiration, going for my best shape this year turning 37 😊💪 So far my strongest ever and now time to shred down 🔥
Great Video Dan. I can feel the commitment....
If you always do what you always did don't expect change !!!
Yup💪
That's a fantastic transformation, which deserves respect. You didn't look bad to begin with to be honest with you, just normal really. There are people in far worse shape than you were in to start with, so anybody out there who looks that way, get fitter and leaner by all means but don't worry too much.
Awesome video !!! I’m on my journey. This just got me even more pumped.!!
😊 thanks Dan!
Thanks for showing your journey Dan, I'm preparing myself for something similar and you have given me some great inspiration, cheers John
Massive inspiration, thanks Dan.
This is a dope video, thank you for the motivation. I start my 21 day challenge this week. I see now I have to make some adjustments and go hard for 90 days. I definitely will see great results. I’m hyped and excited for what’s about to happen. Let’s Go!!!
Its ironic that at like 17:28 in the video when your working hardest and and pushing through pain and muscle failure, that Poison- nothing but a good time is playing in the background.Keep up the good work
Congrats Dan! You are such an inspiration
Amazing video. Usually the "rich guy works out" videos don't do it for me. But you showed an approach that is practical and you showed the ups and downs. Great work! 💯
Appreciate the trust🙏
Wanted to make something actually actionable
You honesty is refreshing@@danmartell
Great job man! Tons of disipline needed to achieve that status. I'm on my way back to it at the moment @ 44yo.
My Fatboy weight in Feb 2024 was 235 height of snowboard season, with beer, wings and burgers. Currently at 204 shooting for 190. Hold strong fella's, stick to your plan and execute it.
Nice transformation Dan, congrats
Tinus from South Africa. Well done man!! I am 47 started training 5 months ago. Now starting super sets full body weight training and cardio because I can't see that change I want yet. I will definately loose the salt and sugar. Thanks bro. Again well done!!
Wow! Dan! your story inspired me to striving to become the best version of myself
Thanks for creating this and documenting the process. So much inspiration right here!
🙏🙏
So inspiring Dan! Thank you for sharing.
You got this!
Your transformation will inspire everyone around you;)
Mega effort, dude. Very inspirational. 💪😎
Thank you!

This was a great story and I watched it in full. Well done, my friend - you put in the work, reset and grew your belief system, and look f'n great. Keep it up and thank you for sharing.
Dan this is nuts 😮I’m on the journey and thinking of changing to your gear but I’m terrified. Congratulations 🙌🏻 🥂
Mind set is the key.
Do the work.
Get the benefit.
What a transformation! Thank you for inspiring and making me change my mind set 💪🧠
💪💪
I feel ya dude. I'm 7 years clean from heroin and meth. I learned how to walk again 6 years ago after an accident and am now getting back in shape. It's not at all easy but I'm skateboarding again and am back to it!
Incredible transformation, and I’m glad to see the level of intensity required to get those changes. I’ve gotten incredible results following you & Alan so far, but after seeing this, I think I’ve only been giving 95% … time to step it up 💪
You got this! Ramp it up
240 last Sunday 7-7-24, not working out at all, just on Keto. I entered Ketosis 7-10-24, and now 7-13-24 im at 232. Goal is 195-200 asap. Im 43. Wish me luck 👇🏻
You got this👊
195 sounds great
Dan, thanks so much for another awesome clip, giving insight to your success, which helps us all
I appreciate how over the top dramatic the production is lol. Love it
The team killed it;)
Wow, what an amazing journey. Congratulations 🎉
Thank you so much for documenting this
Let's gooooooooo baby!
Great video an - you did it! a few ups and downs along the way but great documentation of the journey!!!
@@seancallahan3806 🙏
Loved watching this. Amazing journey, and hella inspiring. Time to get on it!
Extremely good video dan
That's how I got abs in 90 days!
Let me know your biggest takeaway in the comments below
You are so inspiring!!!! TY very much!!!!!
That Tomato juice cleanse is insane even if it’s only for a few days. I cant wait!!
Interested to know what the balance of cardio to strength training was on a typical week. Amazing job really inspiring!
90 Days to a New You is a very cool way to look at it , well done 👍🏻
Sick transformation Dan! Well done 🏆
You don’t need to cut out sodium though!
Great video love the honesty!!!
I am inspired, this video put me at a new level.
Appreciate you!
Love all of your content sir!! Appreciate all of the motivation fuel!! THANK YOU!
Dan the story telling from this made the journey even more amazing how did you capture all of this to create this video?
Dan you still look fit before the start of your journey ( above 80% population) but you still did it and you are a great example of upgrading yourself no matter if you are 17 or 70 .
Right not exactly a Dad bod
Thanks… but I knew I was living a lie.
I deserve better.
I was making excuses.
That changed.
No going back.
I see you as my mentor, it was like an inspiration for me . One day I will meet you face to face and share about my journey to you.
@@JDubKillinKicks In fairness to Dan, by his standards it was a Dad bod.
Congrats and really enjoyed this. I'm 6,1 230lbs 15% and needed this as extra motivation to go down to 10%.
Love this Dan! I'm at the tail end of my fitness transformation as well.
👊💪
I did it all by my self I study my body try everything I found what I need it. This was the greatest moment in my life in which I found my self at all levels. You can do all you just need to study how your body works and very important training your brain and is the must important part. It is all mental. Now I can train anyone because I didn’t all by my self. It is brutal 😊
Dan this is outstanding journey and transformation. Massive Respect💪
Just curious, do you have maybe step by step written down in points from day 1 for people like me who want to start this journey😃
Was hoping to see you mention your journey with TRT, nothing wrong with it if it’s needed. Just need to set proper expectations for people who are older and let them know you did it with TRT. Most men your age will have low T and this will be very hard to achieve.
LFG my man! Love this!
Appreciate you!
you look incredible! love you dude, inspired 💙
Appreciate you brother!
Wow what an inspirational video. There's always new levels and opportunities for growth.
100%🙏👊
Pumped to watch this!!
🙏👊
Might as well go all the way;)
Your introduction is me all my life.
All time low in my life right now and 226 pounds.
Was always 170-180.
Could you please tell me the first few day's cleanse protocol besides 2 days of tomato juice?
Great video and subscribed. Cheers from Quebec.

Man, this is what I needed to see.
Lol you should have called the vid. How to have abs and take dehighdrated pictures in good lighting after 90 days😂
😂 thought the same thing
how to go on vacation for a month and come back to the gym.
You look so much better, it's insane. Just from the face alone.
Very inspiring video, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the motivation Dan!!
