Why is the alpha design better then the original?
As I understand it, the developers of the original game wanted to make a different game. But unfortunately they did not manage to implement this. That's why the game has degraded so much.

I'm thinking about making a alpha 1 reimagined and the house still looks like it did in alpha 1 but the basement will be a mixture of the alpha 2 basement and full release basement. The house layout will be noticeably different in some areas and the grave room will be significantly different because after digging the grave it will teleport you to a nightmare level that's a graveyard and like fear school in act 3 you have to wait for mannequins to stop moving but to signal when they freeze or are moving again is a ominous church bell and eventually you get to the end which is the neighbor's wife's grave and you push a mannequin into it ending the level giving you the push ability. Then the baby room behind the gun range is another nightmare level and this one is the neighbor's house in act 1 but you play as the neighbor and you have to crouch to hide from mannequins wearing Aaron Peterson's clothes and then you get to the end where you find mya dead and then the garage sends you to another nightmare level that has you jumping across vehicles and eventually you have to double jump over a fence and a cutscene shows the neighbor's car driving and getting cut off by the pizza truck and the neighbor limping out of the car and actually dragging his wife to the paramedics so they can put her in the ambulance and take her to the hospital only for her to die and that is how you unlock all three abilities
