- This fantastic song by "Jimmy Jones" which i very much like, was released in 1960 and made number 1 in the UK charts and number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 over in the U.S.. The footage here is of the 59 club, which was a rockers club actually set up by the Reverend "Bill Shergold" In Hackney Wick East London, and this man turned out to be a bit of a celebrity in the 60's, known as the Biker Priest, and the ton-up Vicar.. At one point this club had over 4000 members.. It just goes to show if the older generation and religious people like the man here, meet the younger generation on their level, then a good connection between the two can take place... Am off to bed in a while as it's getting late here, but will catch up with my friends videos tomorrow...

Yeah a great tune this one Mark, i came from a very musical house, with my older brother and sisters constantly playing their music, and so were both my parents.. This song was actually released before i was even born, but i remember it so well from my childhood being played in the family home.. Yeah great memories for me this one.. Hi Nancy, i got tons of footage like this, and hope to use much more of it for future videos.. When i was last back in England i spent some time converting old footage to MP4, so it's now on my computer and ready to use.. Great video production for the song Carl. The hard drive on my PC died weeks ago and since I had it fixed Windows 7 no longer supports my Sony Camera or Video tape recorder so I have no way of putting any videos into my PC and even if I could Windows Movie Makers is no longer a free download so I am pretty much finished with YT. I will do my best to try to keep up with your uploads and a few more of who I know are my true friends.
Sorry to hear your bad news Greg, windows 10 is sometimes a problem for me, but i tend to use windows 7 still as it's so much better than windows 10.. Windows 10 does not play all my old home movies footage, not until i have put them through Windows movie maker.. As far as i know windows movie maker is still a free download, as i downloaded it to my new laptop awhile back, try again, as there are some not original sites that try and charge you, but as far as i know the original is still free...
