WHO AM I️ WATCHING?
We are Matt and Meghan and we live in a van that we converted ourselves. Our main goal in life is to find freedom! Through our youtube channel, we hope to inspire others to go after what they want! You will see us travel the US and maybe internationally in the future! When we first started dating, vanlife was always on Meghan's mind but Matt wanted to get out of debt before committing. So we made a pact to get out of debt! 2 years later, we paid off $99,000 dollars worth of debt, got engaged and bought a van to start our journey! We would LOVE if you would come along for the ride!

Yeah, New Orleans roads are terrible. Last time, about 8 months ago, I had to drive my rig & trailer through the French Market. Nightmare 😫

The really good New Orleans food can be found in our kitchens, not in those fancy restaurants in the Quarter. Also, the little hole in the wall greasy spoon restaurants have good food as well. I was raised on coffee and chickery, but I prefer Dunkin' Donut Coffee or folgers LOL Many people here love community coffee. You should have ridden the street car down to a bar called Cooter Browns. You would have had more fun there and gotten better food for cheap. Plus, they have like 200 different types of beer from all over the world.
Pronounced, "Ben-yay". Yes, some call them French Market Donuts. OK, follow me here. Hold it up in front of your mouth, aim at your partner across the table, and blow powdered sugar all over him. Then laugh! This is a tradition.

There are so many amazing food places outside the French Quarter that are way better.....the Irish Channel had some amazing food.

We are actually in the middle of converting a 14 foot vintage camper into a tiny home and traveling the US! I have talked to Jenn a little bit “lost renegades” and got a bit of feed back. We hope to see you all on the road soon! The only thing we are concerned about is the making money concept but we will be starting our own RUclips channel! They went to tourist go to the heart of New Orleans and not paying those outrageous prices uptown has spots and downtown that’s where the of New Orleans is we the gumbo French quarters watered down
Unfortunately, we only had a few days there but we plan on going back!

Crawfish boil is definitely on our bucket list! We will have to check out Sammy's when we are in Louisiana. Food reviews are so fun! We had a blast shooting one for "Hot Chicken Takeover" in Columbus. Would 10/10 recommend if you end up in Ohio 😛

There are certain restaurants that do it right, but there's nothing like an authentic home brewed crawfish boil. You get the good food along with with the good times, and good music, and good beer. If you have friends in Cajun country, definitely hit them up for a crawfish boil.
“I don’t know if its the right place to get them”, its THE place to get them, they’re well known for the best ones, the humid air has an affect on the dough.

Gator is usually served fried like this and it truly doesn’t have a lot of flavor, kind of like chewey chicken. Redfish is delicious if done right that’s all Tj used to catch in FL.
