Custom G-Body Door Panels for $100! | Rebuilding ANOTHER Grand National Part 11

Coming down to the wire for Carlisle 2023! I made these panels with $50 of supplies, $40 speakers + the cost of fabric.

Thanks for this one. I don't need the speaker (I like how it raised the front sound stage), but I definitely need new upper door panels. I think I'm going to try small strips of foam to make a design.

Yeah when the ttops came off the music got drowned out😂
I tried using foam but wasn’t happy with the straightness of my cuts but it can be done. At 11:09, the lower panel is visible, I used 4 pieces of poster board in layers for that

Thank you 🙌 it came with an old Kenwood tape deck but I’m going with the Kenwood DMX7709S double DIN with CarPlay eventually

Thank you 🙌 I got it from SMS Auto Fabrics. I bought a yard of fabric to fix a couple seat bolsters, but it wasn’t a perfect match so I switched up to the door panels
