I don't think they blended "all religions" I just saw catholism and voodoo (with a have sprinkle of Christianity) But the idea that only one religion gets to be valid at a time otherwise it doesn't make sense is honestly probably what's wrong with the world right now. Also I loved the scene at the end where the old lady's daughter comes back (made me cry) and the scene where the would be nun neighbours talks about hope was one of the best things that movie gave us.
It's not about one religion getting to be valid at one time, it's that this exorcism is specifically a Catholic rite, as evidenced by the ex-nun conducting it from the Christian Bible and the people in attendence reciting Christian prayers. If they were doing a Jewish exorcism or a Muslim exorcism, it would have to be conducted with the leaders and rituals specific to the respective faith, or risk blasphemy and consequent failure, which is the opposite of what you're trying to accomplish in an exorcism. A simple example: cakes and ice cream can be served on the same table at the same time, but you cannot mix and match recipe instructions for cake and ice cream and still get the same individual results. Additionally, there are many different flavors of cake (sects of Christianity), but if you want red velvet cake you have to follow a red velvet cake recipe, and if you want an Italian cream cake you have to follow an Italian cream cake recipe.

If you wanted to use another faith system's exorcism that was much more lenient on who can conduct exorcisms and how, no one would have these problems, but because Catholicism isn't like that and everybody knows it, this whole premise falls apart. Do not be ignorant of a belief that there is only one kind of exorcism to one religion! Every religion has a form of exrocisms ! And saint Benedict is the patron saint of exorcisms ! So keep that in mind, want to argue about this with epilepsy?
All lives mattering exorcism is such a weird concept, I mean Catholicism called dibs.… and the random half baked ending, the exorcism being boring, the lack of tension through the entire movie, no gore, at no point did I fear for anyones life, you still can’t convince me they won’t just Gumby the poor priests neck back around and he’ll be fine.
I lost it when the priest was like I am out of it you can perform Exorcism I am like the movie is called Exorcist and the priest himself has no character character I know he could not compare to og father Karras which for me one the best character. Movie lacked it .
I honestly thought that was another one of them Nuns/Astral movies or whatever and didn't even make a connection But I goes I don't really need to watch that one
I honestly didn't care about the religious part of it, but I did enjoy the movie and seeing Linda Blair on screen again. And it's rather useless to say a movie doesn't make sense because it doesn't adhere to certain things, but most movies don't, so... how come we can suspend belief for some, but not for others? Just odd, to me.
In the beginning of the movie they were in Haiti, and .what she did was give her a blessing and obviously a the blessing protection worked. Not the slots logo 💀
The lines in this movie are so bad they sound like memes
Do not be ignorant of a belief that there is only one kind of exorcism to one religion! Every religion has a form of exrocisms ! And saint Benedict is the patron saint of exorcisms ! So keep that in mind, want to argue about this with epilepsy?
Wait what Danny McBride wrote the script for this movie😂😂😂
Honestly… swifties are scary af
Heh! "Whispering eye"
Then had him come back just to die that fast? Terrible.
Hopefully the exorcist deceiver will be better
Eras tour LME when?!?!
Taylor Swift is pretty scary.
Yall watch the movie fr fr .
I honestly thought that was another one of them Nuns/Astral movies or whatever and didn't even make a connection
But I goes I don't really need to watch that one
The girl who died was already picked up. Upside down cross on her head.
wanted this to be better
Fresh off work, let’s get it!
Because it already established its lore in the original
Did you get a screener for the new Paranormal Activity movie?
Not a remake
But it is NOT a remake
Did the little girl get dragged into hell?
In the beginning of the movie they were in Haiti, and .what she did was give her a blessing and obviously a the blessing protection
worked. I was born in Haiti and my family does voodoo and Catholic religion and voodoo goes hand-in-hand. The Saints you see in the Catholic Church goes back to voodoo I understand and enjoyed the movie
😂 the body n the blood
This movie was pretty good and the twist ending was also as good. The og movie it was creepy but not scary as half y’all claim
If they didn't connect it to the first one he would have been better
