I live on an island in the Pacific and use my chainsaw couple times each week. Clean it every month or so, if you saw it when i remove covers your head would explode. 😂😂
@@robertmiranda2444 I have not had the chance to cut island veg but I do know that the type of trees will play a big role in how often you should clean the saws. Thank you
That sticky bar oil is real nasty. I'm not gonna buy any more, it left a sticky,gummy mess that has to be scrubbed off where it's hot and dries. I spray diesel and use air to clean, and don't like to have to totally tear down and scrub ever time I use them.
Same, I clean with diesel/gas 50-50 mix , about once a month. After everyday use I just use an air compressor and get all the big crud out. Very effective and it doesn't take long.

I like to clean my saw. After every use.
