Same thing. Putting legos together basically. Just instead of purchasing each section separately, you get the whole thing and can buy specific things you want to add later. Depends on prices.
For the Drop Alt high-profile, I would recommend getting a foam thats around 4mm thick, perhaps 5mm might fit, any thicker would be a very tight fit as there is really not much space inside the cases. HTH

foam is usually 1-2mm and the cloth tape tightens it because the rattle was likely coming from there which is where the stabilizer is mounted

I recently got a new set of foam from my Drop ALT from stupidfish.design/ they are precut already, so all you need is just to install them.

Thats a 110 keycap set, unfortunately, it lacks some keys for 65% keyboard like the Drop ALT.
