Quite amazing how you made a cheap keyboard so premium. I have found Drop keyboards ship with the absolute garbage stabs and frame. I replaced stabs, did a holy mod, foam boarded the board and I still get this odd rattle. I now use that Drop keyboard as paper weight.
I ended up grabbing the Sense75 a couple weeks ago ago for the sale price + the Drop Keyboard Club coupon and was able to grab it for $70. I followed the mods done by Scott/Keybored and honestly it's an amazing value and top quality keyboard after modding it. Drop if you are listening: DO NOT TAKE THIS KEYBOARD OFF THE SALE. Literally my favorite keeb right now!
They will definitely take it off sale. Why do you think they sponsored this video? They retailed this keyboard for $400 when it first came out, at least that's what I remember. Weird that Hippyo mentions $250 as the original price but pretty sure the white version was higher?

I bought this board after being wowed by the Zoom 75 but seeing that $269 price (Sky Blue which is available still+the LCD, as well as shipping). The price of this keyboard on the other hand made “sense”. This will be my first keyboard I build as opposed to modding prebuilts, so I’m looking forwards to the experience!

I just got a set of the Morandi switches you recommend and replaced them in my Bakeneko 65. I replaced a set of Drop Panda x's that I hand lubed and have in several other boards as well. I can tell you the Morandi's imho kick the crap out the Drop Pandas at less than half the price. Both in sound and feel, they are just plain better. Thank you very much for the recommendation. As a user of both linear and tactile, I am shocked at how good these sound and feel for the price. A note that you talked in a recent video of the difference between the Drop DCX White on Black and the Black on White. I have both and the Black on White (the black being the legends) are just a much more solid and heavy switch. The blacks feel massively cheaper in comparison. Cheers and keep up the good work!

@@user-ko5kk9ud8k hmm, a bell doesn't describe it's sound, I would call it more of a q1 stock, but even then, a few simple mods can simply erase any left ping it has, also it's thin constraction is not the problem, the sound appears to come from hollowness and or the top case coming in contact with the bottom case. Nice vid mate. Why do you keep using Press n Seal if it’s so dangerous for PCBs? I know you’ve said it’s not recommended, but it’s been quite a few vids recently
I bought the 5075S barebones kit and I’m very happy with it. In total, I spent $96 on the base and Akko cream yellows and $30 ish on the keycaps. I haven’t modded it because I’m afraid to pry open the top and break off a LED for the side glow as I have already seen several videos where they pop off just from disassembly. Overall I would even think the $99 for an aluminum board and easier disassembly makes it a better competitor
2 Yellow Switches! Me cool!!!! Wonder why this board was not well recieved by reviewers and in general other than inital price of course. I guess adding the pillow foam is the game changer? (I have that same pillow by the way, love it)

I've been waiting to hear opinions on the Sense75. Was super suspicious of it since the other Drop keyboards are... Well, "not competitive" would be putting it lightly.
I was so torn on buying the Morandi switches but from some reddit research they say they do not last very long and there is too much stem wobble? have you found this to be the case on your Morandi switches?
Ping is immediately bad? I have no idea why everyone hates ping and only goes for "thock". There are many other sounds aside from thock. There are pops, clacks, and pings.
im not british, meaning i can comment "I love your knob hipyo, very good job on having a knob hipyo", so, I love your knob hipyo, very good job on having a knob hipyo
I’ll answer for you haha. Drop offers $10 discount for new registered accounts so it’s only $90 barebones for the black sense75, you also have the option of brass weight accessory as well as brass plate, you will also get the rgb side lighting if that’s a plus to you. I bought both of them but they haven’t arrive yet. But for what you’re getting, I’ll prolly go for the sense75. Also consider the $150 bundle option for black sense75+holy panda x($70 value)+drop keycaps(not sure how much maybe $40-60?) this makes the board as just a bonus if you look at it this way plus the $10 new acc discount.

So... I ordered this one... but then found out about the Monsgeek M1 and I had to get that one and return this one.... was that a mistake? I feel the M1 has more "bang for your buck" :S
Modded pre-built FTW! I love marbly keyboards.
I've been waiting to hear opinions on the Sense75. Was super suspicious of it since the other Drop keyboards are... Well, "not competitive" would be putting it lightly.
i cant tell if buying and modding this keyboard is a good investment as hipyo seems to like this board, while everyone else seems to despise it
can i substitute cotton balls for pillow foam?
honestly. I think the holy pandas modded sound fantastic! totally giving this a try
I was so torn on buying the Morandi switches but from some reddit research they say they do not last very long and there is too much stem wobble? have you found this to be the case on your Morandi switches?
5075s via or epomaker th 80 pro both are barebones please give me a response I need help to find out which one is better
I know that this might not really be a question that’s even possible to answer, but in your opinion what’s the best keyboard in any budget (pre-built)
2. Yellow. Switches.
So did you put the pillow foam in the prebuilt or did you just do it in the barebones?
Neat saving 100 bucks to cover for the 100 dollar pillow \o/
Hipyo!! Thank you for making this video!!! :)
i do wish they came out with a version where the knob was a button. kinda like the akko mod006. also a full pc option would be swell
Do you recall if this board accepts screw-in stabs?
Ping is immediately bad? I have no idea why everyone hates ping and only goes for "thock". There are many other sounds aside from thock. There are pops, clacks, and pings.
US only though cause Drop's shipping to the EU is pretty shoddily priced
HOLY SHIT AT 9:05 I THOUGHT IT WAS SOMETHING ELSE
im not british, meaning i can comment "I love your knob hipyo, very good job on having a knob hipyo", so,
I love your knob hipyo, very good job on having a knob hipyo
Hey, Hipyo! What would you choose between the Sense 75 and the Monsgeek M1, with them being the same price.
Also consider the $150 bundle option for black sense75+holy panda x($70 value)+drop keycaps(not sure how much maybe $40-60?) this makes the board as just a bonus if you look at it this way plus the $10 new acc discount.
why do you have a keyboard on the ground!?! 13:33
