Really love watching this series. Can never replace the bonds that is between siblings. Love the narrative as well. I keep watching the series multiple times 😊. Hope you do more. Keep up the good work.
Your filming, editing. music selection and overall video making is spot on! I am a rider, for over 50 years now. I ride and I ride and I ride. I appreciate all the up's and down's of a trip and you roll with the punches so well. Keep going..you are hitting your stride.
Loved the music and great video. It is great to see you and your brother doing stuff together. A must have in a hotel room for me is a clean room, bed, sheets, and a working shower. Non-sketchy environment is a plus too.
So very good to see You and your Brother, back, tripping again. My little Sister is my best friend, I truly wish..🏍…🙏?. No worries, we have a bond no one can break. Happy Trails and Safe Travels 👍🏼 😎 🇺🇸 🌎
Excellent. Love you travel vlogs. Love having your brother along, with the banter and shared narration. Adds another dimension to an already great channel. Such a beautiful country.
Love Montana, my second daughter is Kali Montana 😍. Enjoyed the video. My baby sister is Amanda also though she is no longer a baby. Montana is so beautiful. RIDE SAFE!
I stayed in that Ramada on my way to Rocky Mountain Roll this year. I must have got a nonsmoking room, no problems. Gotta Love that Wolfman luggage!!! That duffle I won is EXCELLENT!!! Another great video. Nice to see Gary in them.
What a beautiful state. I just got home from a 2 month trip through 15 western states avoiding interstates and national parks, just camping and enjoying the country. I saw my first moose who wondered in my camp and enjoyed some awesome hot springs. I love Montana. I will be back. Maybe I might see y'all.
Just wow. This is the best thing I've seen on YT for a while. First of all, the videography is exemplary, especially the shots of the landscape and other nature shots. Also, the overall production was just so positive, peaceful, and calming. Finally, since I live so far from there, seeing a new part of the country (for me) was really fun. More, please.
You've found a wonderful gem here. The older videos demonstrate a building of confidence and skills. And artistical flair is in other areas of Amandas life. A big fan from the UK so also love seeing amazing scenery and adventures
What a great way to show your home state. On bikes with your brother. The dual narration flows seemlesly and it comes from sincerity from both of you. What a wonderful connection you two have. What a team. God bless you both and I look forward to your upcoming adventures.
Thank you! ☺️ Lol if you feel like going the extra mile send that comment and a link to the video to the Visit Montana Instagram or their email lol 🤣 we're still trying to convince them
Amanda and Gary thank you for bringing back so many memoires of my home state. My uncle Dan owned and ran a gas station/ grocery store in Seely Lake for many years. In fact he managed to get the first fire truck for Seely Lake by driving it back from Great Falls in a blizzard. He end up with some frost bite in his fingers because the fire truck was a open cab. I have in the past spent time at Seely Lake and Placid Lake as well as Holland Lake. My brother and I also rode bicycles from Missoula to Swan Lake in 1990 when taking part in the 24th Tour of the Swan River Valley. So thank you again! Montana is huge and is full of Hugely amazing places.
Amanda, your videos keep getting better and better. Both the quality of the content and the editing show your hard work. Always good to see your brother traveling with you. THIS series on Montana is really helpful to me as I plan my own trip to Montana (one of my favorite states for motorcycling).
Your videos are ridiculously appealing. I put a deposit on an Africa Twin ES DCT and just can’t wait to have adventures like yours. Thank you so much for motivating me to pursue a dream.
I rode across the great state of Montana on a bicycle 22 years ago at a ripe young age of 26. It left such a huge, lasting impression on my soul and heart. I absolutely loved it. I have not been back since, but that's not to say I never will be. There is a big draw for me to Montana; so many things about it call out. Thanks for the excellent video, Amanda, you always have fantastic content.
I agree... I have tried Ramada a couple of times and each time has let me down. I will pay a bit more to have a better room. Hotel must have? Ugh... I get frustrated when there are not enough accessible power/USB ports. I can only charge so much when on the bike, so power ports are important! Even with being in Australia, watching your videos make me homesick. I was planning a trip to SD and back through RMR this year. So seeing so many places I rode through last year is making me nostalgic.
Amanda, you create some of the best content I have found. I assume that Gary not only assists with some voice over, but with your editing as well. It is very, very good! The music, the balance of content, and your travels are very addicting. Keep on keeping on. My wife and I hopped to cross paths with you someday to say hello. We are currently in Wyoming and South Dakota, headed for Montana and Idaho, before returning to Texas. Keep up the good work! There will always be haters along the way. They are likely jealous that you are living your best life and they likely aren’t. Peace!
Gary only sends me voice over when I ask for it. I do everything else. I film and I edit. Just me. lol which is why videos have been sparse lately. I'm a one woman show lol
Hi Magpie. This video filtered through my feed and I'm glad it did, especially during a time that I could actually sit and watch it in its entirety. Montana has been on my bucket list of places I'm hoping to ride to at some point. Lots of cool places to see and that sculpture park looked awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Again, a great episode. I watched it on Patreon. I look forward to all of your videos each week. Bob and I are heading to Overland Expo East on Wednesday. We are taking the truck and camping. Bob doesn’t have enough enough time off to make it a bike trip. It will be our first time going to one of these. Looking forward to it.
The buildings made out of twigs have a creepy and whimsical feeling about them at the same time. I came across something like that in Hawaii one time and spent hours there wandering around. ESC: a well running a/c 😂
Wonderful video, was really enjoying then the credits rolled lol, could have sat and watched for hours. The dynamic between you and brother makes me smile which begs the question why do you call him brother and not by his name? It is Hella cute though. Makes me wish I'd spent more time with sister when I still lived in England before moving out to California.
I love your video. I now want to go visit St. Helena, MT. You made the city look charming. Thank you for the share. I can't wait for your next video. I hope to meet you some day.
I'm pretty biased towards Hilton properties, I try to stay @ Hampton inns. After 20+ years of traveling for business and pleasure, I can count on one hand the number of times i've been disappointed with a room with them. But they can be (extremely) pricey at times. I've literally paid between $70 and $400 on what's ostensibly the same room accommodations, a week apart. Different cities, of course... Full disclosure, the high mark was the last room available, in Moab, at the end of May.... The other was in Biloxi, MS during a week-long rain event.
I'm not sure what you mean by Co-Vo. I'm still the one shooting/editing/producing lol I just forced brother to help me with the voiceover for the episodes he's in this season so I don't have to only listen to my own voice XD
One of the things I'll look for, especially if on a bicycle instead of a motorcycle is KOA campgrounds. Very often, they have nice, isolated camping sites (away from the RV areas.) That's where I stayed when I rode through Helena. Of course, that was 30 years ago, so it might, just MIGHT have changed. (I was going to say the same thing about the Swan River Valley. Looking at Google Earth, it looks like population made its way there.)
Sorry you had to endure the smoky/stinky hotel room. The last hotel room I stayed in was in Dallas and it was ok. I think I prefer the smaller rooms with oodles of character. That place you stayed in the 2nd(?) video with the reclaimed wood, looked nice. So when is the next live stream Amanda?
I didn't include the name of the campground because it did not have a campground host. However, there's lots of campgrounds in the Helena National Forest, check the Forest Service Website they have an interactive map to help you find camp sites :)
Just hit the play button on this one and then spoke out loud to my empty living room, "hello beautiful people". 😁 I'm going to unpause the video and watch the rest now....
Thanks so much for watching, Check the Blog Post for this episode to see our route: www.asthemagpieflies.com/blog/2022/9/19/thingstodoinmontanapart3

Amanda and Gary. Thank you for making such a beautiful series. It’s cheered my heart so much watching you both sharing a memorable trip.
Your filming, editing. music selection and overall video making is spot on! I am a rider, for over 50 years now. I ride and I ride and I ride. I appreciate all the up's and down's of a trip and you roll with the punches so well. Keep going..you are hitting your stride.
You're the real deal Magpie. There is no other RUclips creator who's "how to pack your bike" type videos I hold in higher esteem.
AW Thank you very much Jeffery I appreciate that!
I like it when "brother" goes with you. THANKS for sharing !!
Loved the music and great video. It is great to see you and your brother doing stuff together. A must have in a hotel room for me is a clean room, bed, sheets, and a working shower. Non-sketchy environment is a plus too.

Two things, clean and quiet. Really enjoying this series.
I’m loving this series. We enjoyed our trip to Helena. Great history and ice cream. 😊

The only thing important to me. No bed bugs, and a clean bathroom. The rest is just nice to have.
A little slice of heaven in Montana…. Thank you Amanda….WHAT???? No answering crew question???? I am shocked….😏
There was one Roger! Gotta rewatch the ending :P
Lincoln was very fascinating wow. Thank you guy’s for bringing us along.

4:45 okay Gary we, see you. Looking bada$$ as ever! I always enjoy a video series when 'brother' is in them.
Montana sure is something with their sceneries etc. The pizza indeed looked real good!
That was fun. Thanks for taking me along.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video thanks for sharing . Beautiful out there.
*_Amanda, you have really talked me into taking a trip to Montana. Your videos are top notch. I really enjoy it. Thanks for sharing._*

You know when you're a kid and the only time your parents really called you by your full name is when you're in trouble? It's like that.
Damn I wish I was there! Thanks 4 another awesome video!!!💗😎👍👍👍
very good video! thumbs up for sure
Another great vido. Loving this series. A bed with clean sheets... if I've had to do the motel, that's all I really need.
I absolutely love your videos. You take me places I probably will never get to see.
Thanks for bringing us along.
Love the history
That it I'm going Montana here's is come! Thanks for sharing
What amazing views!!!
I love your video. I now want to go visit St. Helena, MT. You made the city look charming. Thank you for the share. I can't wait for your next video. I hope to meet you some day.
It's just Helena MT 😊👍
I hope you get to visit!
Thank you for sharing your video 👍❤️💯🙏🏻
I just love watching your videos!
Missoula here :)
Hello from Sweden!
Thanks!
Very nicely done and relaxing to watch. Enjoying Gary’s commentary too.
Awesome video! Great campsite at the end. Must have in a hotel is good high speed internet!
A comfortable bed
Well done. Good videography

lol I'm starting to lean towards paying the extra cash to stay in Best Western Plus and Holiday Inn Expresses now XD
Is Gary your new Co-VO beyond this series? You two pack a one/two punch!
I'm not sure what you mean by Co-Vo.
I'm still the one shooting/editing/producing lol I just forced brother to help me with the voiceover for the episodes he's in this season so I don't have to only listen to my own voice XD
@@AstheMagpieFlies You both have complimenting voiceover styles. Maybe every now and then bend his arm to do a guest vo for you.

Looks like a pretty good day to me, travel well, Godspeed
For me I love it when a hotel room has a big shower head that dumps tonnes water. :)
ooo yess that's the best
Sorry you had to endure the smoky/stinky hotel room. The last hotel room I stayed in was in Dallas and it was ok. I think I prefer the smaller rooms with oodles of character. That place you stayed in the 2nd(?) video with the reclaimed wood, looked nice.

siete fantastici.... vi piace mangiare.... evviva.
Nice video stunning location
I was hoping you'd go to Lincoln/ blackfoot pathways as you were heading down 83!
My rock-bottom requirement for a hotel room is that it's clean. I can put up with few to zero amenities but it HAS to be clean. :)
Power and usb is a must
Holy cow… Sinclair gas stations? Haven’t seen those in the Southeast in shit maybe 50 years.
interesting
Maybe you've already mentioned it and I missed it....How do/did you like the DCT AT...???
What was the name of the campground outside Helena? Looks gorgeous, looking for a place to stay next summer while we're in the area.
I didn't include the name of the campground because it did not have a campground host. However, there's lots of campgrounds in the Helena National Forest, check the Forest Service Website they have an interactive map to help you find camp sites :)
@@AstheMagpieFlies I shall do that, thanks Amanda!
Lovely vlogs Lovely lady,, greetings from Iraq
A must for a hotel room? Clean, no bugs and warm running water
Just hit the play button on this one and then spoke out loud to my empty living room, "hello beautiful people". 😁
I'm going to unpause the video and watch the rest now....
End Screen: Opening windows for fresh air!
Nothing moving around when you first open the door or pull back the covers
I think your next episode is u coming to butte.
Hmmm... must have? Smoke free!
I'm still waiting, my popcorn is getting cold 🥶
I mean there's no excuse for that, it says what time the video is gonna go live on the video lol you just made your popcorn too early sir.
@@AstheMagpieFlies 🤣🤣🤣 But I'm spoiled lol.
Kol
A good bed and hot shower!
So does being a soft luggage kinda gal make you a "softie"?😏
lol whatever works
Thanks!
