Very good instruction as always. I would love to be there in person "looking over your shoulder" and fetching you tools/supplies as you do this job. It's been many years since I've done any work like this, and I always enjoyed it. I was thinking about my tractor that is much older than yours, yet it still pretty much operates the same way.
seems like the older machines are better built. this one is a 2005 so its got a few years on her as well. its been fun but not something I want to do again anytime soon.
Yep, she's coming along just fine. I like the handle and 2 close-bolt method to slide in that flywheel. I have a new torque wrench and sometimes my eyes give me trouble to ensure I have correct settings. I thought about a digital torque wrench but don't have digital money (hahaha). Enjoyed a full-watch, Dave. I'd say you'll be joining the 2 halves of this sweet beauty back together in a couple days or maybe a week (all depending on required chores). One little step at a time. No need to rush anything. Have a fine week. See you on the next one. 👍🏽🙂
I started to buy the digital one but this one seems to work great and requires no batteries. chances are when I need to use it the batteries would be dead. thats how my luck goes.
Good video. Come to my very remote off grid Kodiak Alaska homestead, for two or three weeks on a working fishing vacation, and help me replace my clutch on my Kubota B21. We will feed and house you and send you back with lots of halibut and salmon. The whole adventure would make you a great video.
@@daveknowshow just say the word and we’ll start making your Alaska Airlines iternerary. A longer three week stay would be best because boats and local planes often do not travel several days because of the bad weather. A longer stay can factor in bad weather for traveling, normally by boat, to get you back to the Kodiak airport for your return trip home. There is the ferry TUSTUMENA that runs from Kodiak to village of Ouzinkie ( where I am very close to) twice a week that is pretty reliable. 57°53.842N 152°28.749W
How's she goin'? Nice job getting that flywheel in place. Neat idea for making those alignment bolts. Really helped when getting the flywheel in place. And adding the oil to the bolts was right on too. The tractor is coming together, well not really together, but it's getting close eh!!! LOL Take care!!!
@@daveknowshow I heard it said that if you take something a prat and put it back together enough times, you'll have enough parts left over to build a new one!!!
@@GrampiesWorkshop lol ha ha I know thats right. to funny I needed that laugh. so far I have a small nut I cant figure out where it goes. driving me nuts.
I never heard of oil on threads is reamended part of installment process on anything, usually it's lock-tite. But I would think grease would work just as good as oil on those bolts. I'd like the **** info lot better if the ***** info is told WHY, like why the oil on threads.............
Good video sir. I feel like each one of these videos is like being back in shop class. Good times.
shop class was a fun time!
Going back together with it! Yea! Be nice to see you on it again. Enjoyed the video Dave! Have a good weekend! see ya!
thanks John. looks like you guys are killing it with the landscape business.
@@daveknowshow Got be better, but not complaining. lol

@@stevemartinez6757 cant hardly beat them old ford tractors. they were build tough as a army tank.

I agree I like to know why myself exactly what is the oil for?
I notice you missed 75lb on one bolt
I thought so as well so I went back over them a second time. however looking at the video it appeared I did not miss one. have another look.
