    Anyone remember when he was commentating with Ritchie Benaud in that series. The camera panned to two guys in convict style fancy dress outfits and Greig says to Benaud "Some of your lot". Classic.

    Easily the best commentator Cricket has ever seen. He had everything, the perfect voice, great knowledge of the English language, great speaking ability, absolutely fantastic knowledge of the game of Cricket, the excitement he brought to the game and the witty and corny comments were a treat. Miss you Tony........RIP.

    Dad and I use to go to the Adelaide tests in the late 90s/early 00s and if ya got there early enough, ya would see commentators walking around the ground and most times they were happy to stop and have a chat with the fans. I can't remember the exact year but Greigy stopped to have a chat with us and man, what a great guy to chat with, it was pretty much the same guy on camera we were talking with and he was even happy to show us his car key he used when doing the pitch report 😂

    Remember watching a ODI in Aust, and the camera was on a Harley Davidson bike, it lingered for a few seconds then switched to a
    pretty girl in the crowd, and just as it switched Tony said "How would you like to ride that?"

    I just like how the camera operators are just panning in on these young ladies and their legs. If that were to happen at a football game in America, people would be getting fired and the Me too movement would be making a fuss over it.

      You know, can’t just enjoy something without the politically correct and the anti-politically correct marring a nice entertaining moment. Those who have to comment according to their ideologies really devalue things for down to earth people. Then you have the boguns putting in their crass humour attempts.       @@four321zero Not a jot, one of the last games I think Bairstow had the binoculars out "There he is, I wonder what he's looking at there," and just laughter from the commentary booth as the camera would show all these pretty girls in attendance. It's still alive and well, no need to worry.

    Tony Gregg and Tony Cozier.. two commentators growing up I could listen to all day and not feel bored. Mike Atherton always have that relaxed type of commentary as well that’s really cool.

      The 'Npower girls'. Ahhh, I wondered why there were there. I had no interest in basketball until I discovered they had some pretty hot cheerleader dancers. In the early 90's, the Newcastle Falcons 'Feathers' girls were definitely rated MA15+.

    tony was great RIP. I remember bunking off school to go watch england vs the windies at headingley in 1976 of the 'grovel tour' after seeing his comments on calendar (i think), and if i heard one person say 'who's grovelling now greig' as the windies put on 400 first day (if my now aging brain remembers right), i heard it a 100 times, but we did venture into the stand where the fans were drinking coplious cans of red stripe and having lots of fun - happy days

    Tony Craig was a top top commentator you simply cannot get better commentary then his a dull boring match would even liven up
