  • Casuarina is widely grown by farmers in the Peninsular India particularly in the coastal areas. Major paper mills in south India use around 18 lakh tonnes of Casuarina wood every year which constitutes around 15% of total annual pulpwood requirement. ICFRE-IFGTB has released high-yielding clones which are widely cultivated. This documentary film covers the package of practices in a farmer-friendly manner and highlights their importance to maximize yield and farmer income.
