    Wow
    I'm saving this video
    This is the future of agriculture not just in nigeria but worldwide.
    I have heard before about natural banana having seeds
    About 2 or 3 years ago,I bought two pineapples. The woman that sold them to me told she just got back from her village and had harvested those pineapples from her compound.
    They were not so big, but she gave me a guarantee that she will refund me if they aren't sweet.
    So when I cut one open, I noticed it had seeds. But I was very sweet.
    I got worried and concluded that she had sold bad pineapples to me.
    I threw them away.
    So somedays later I spoke my.mum about it.
    She screamed and asked me if I could find the seller again. It was then I heard that natural fruits like pineapples and banana have seeds.
    But I don't think I'd like to eat seeded banana though

    He described GMO as hybrid when he said ‘a seed that is built to be resistant to that thing’ Hybrid is a cross between two natural seeds or livestock but GMO isn’t a cross but a modification of the genetic of the seed. In Western countries, you no longer have to label fruits and vegetables as genetically modified. You only label organic to distinguish it from non organic.
    I’m proud of this guy though. He’s making a mark.😊

    • @adon8672

      GMO are also hybrid. Any genetically spliced organism could be considered hybridized, so he was right.

      @onomeonota23 6 месяцев назад +4

      @@adon8672 it’s not the same thing. If it were, he wouldn’t have categorised them differently. What’s the logic in that? GMO is made in the lab, hybrid is purely a cross between two existing crops or animals.

    • @onomeonota23
      @onomeonota23 6 месяцев назад +7

      @@emmylast6818 your comment is completely off. Hybrid is defined as an offspring of 2 species, subspecies, breeds… GMOs are animals or plants whose DNA has been altered using engineering techniques. I hope you can see the difference. God bless you!

      @@onomeonota23pure semantics, crossbreeding is genetically modifying a plant. We've been doing this for thousands of years with both plants and animals. Sure, when it's done in a lab you can cross more genetics. But at the end of the day..

      You understand these things more than people in comments. African crops taste better than western crops because we are usually more organic with living soil and none of the hydroponics and chemicals being injected into plants like it’s done in the west. Only advantage is he will have higher turn over with larger produce but everything else is subpar to organic living soil.

      While you are abroad , try to make repeated visits to your home and get to understand the dynamics at play. So you can better adjust. If you jump in "gbum gbam " you may be disappointed. Also start by making small micro investments and or projects. E.g . You could do a small banana plantation and work on processing the stock for fibre or the fruit for flour. That's not micro o, hehehe . Anyways start small bits of projects . And grow.
