you need windows pro version to have access to the group policy editor, doesnt work with windows 10 home

Okey, I am confirming it for every viewers that it is working. IDK some peoples seems to be seen fake commenting that it is not working or they haven't did it correctly and got skill issue... IDK this video owner said it may get enabled after time to time... for me it is fine for now...
Glad to hear that and yes, this task gets enabled after time to time, most likely after a windows update so you have to disable it back again after some time

This doesn't work. Defender will just start ignoring the group policy setting and it will be enabled even when the policy is still configured

In my settings there wasn't an option to turn off real time protection :(
maybe your windows is corrupted ? try updating windows and restarting pc
