  • I have wanted to give up so many times at so many points in my life.
When I feel like things aren’t going my way and that I am on the wrong path.
I always felt like success was just elusive and that I didn’t deserve it.
I felt sometimes that I had done something wrong in my early life and I was being punished for it.
I know now this is ridiculous and the only reason I don’t have success yet is because I’m not doing the work and I don’t believe in myself.
Not because I’m not good enough.
There will be so many times when you want to quit and you feel the world is against you.
You may feel like you have had life harder than everybody else.
If that’s the case then great, use that story, use those circumstances to inspire others when you do succeed.
Your success will be so much sweeter.
Just keep going guys, please don’t quit and please remember that you can do this.

Aw dear Hayden, at 63 I feel so sorry for the younger generations where it seems like people have the weight of the world on their shoulders.
I grew up before social media was invented and it seemed life was less of a challenge even-though we had challenges for sure. I find it sad the web culture almost dictates that people need to be this or that and achieve stuff that's near impossible and then comes the feelings of not being valuable, anxiety and depression from not achieving what society is telling everyone that they need to. eg growing up I never heard the term 'high value man' because everyone in my day had their talents, ability to contribute to society and form meaningful lives...but wait that's not saying everything was rosy perfect because I wasn't.
Growing up for me as a gay guy was based on beliefs that I'm not a good person, being a part of "that" unacceptable minority with no acceptance and harassment was rife. The greatest thing I learnt as I got older is that peace of mind is the greatest gift anyone can give themselves. As time marched on I realised I don't need anyone to validate my existence, I became content within myself so I now don't care what people think of me because I know I'm a damn good person with a caring and compassionate heart.
Be gentle on yourself young man, be contented knowing the sun will rise tomorrow and that will make it a good day. Sending hugs in support of you and your other subscribers so take care.

Thank you so much for sharing Tim it truly is appreciated. It really is hard in the modern day, obviously we have our different challenges. Back say with my grandparents generation, there were wars going on and times were hard and people pooled together to make things better for one another. People were resourceful and they focused on staying alive and providing for their families. Things are different now, because of Social Media there is so much external pressure out there on young people to succeed and become millionaires or to live a certain lifestyle.
Years ago people did the best they could with what they had. Not to say people still didn't become wildly successful but there wasn't so much pressure to do so. You also weren't comparing yourself to everybody you see online.
Now it's very difficult to go through life without comparing yourself to someone else who appears to be doing better than you.
I often wish I had been born in a different time but then there would be other struggles, so really it's a good time to live and be young, it's just hard to stay positive sometimes.
The term high value man is horrible but it's used a lot in the male self improvement world and I really don't like it.
People should be judged on their character and their morals and the way they treat other people. Not how much money they have in their bank or how many people they left slept with.
It's become very degenerate and you were lucky to grow up in the time you did.
Thank you so much for sharing your insight though, I am sure you had many struggles growing up as a gay man and I can only imagine how awful that must have been for you.
I hope that things have changed now and that you are able to live happily and content.
      Appreciate you watching my content!
