So beautiful.....Sergei without doubt is the foremost young virtuoso of our time! I mean....so beautifuland precise atack..........so in tune ....sound.....finger dexterity.........emotional athmosphere....his sound is unique!!! and..plus......so humble!!! BRAVO MAESTRO!!!! Blessings
Gran Orquesta Romanian Brass!!!!
@@harryepstein7499 yeah but no If you look at the video he doesn't actually slur the scale It's a lip bend on half valve, not a half valve slurred scale I've seen no other arrangement where this is done (usually it's just a fast scale), and it's damn impressive
Oof really? That’s how I play it, that’s how every trumpet recording I’ve ever heard does it. Sergei, dokshizer, Brandon ridenour, all of them. You just put all three valves down a bit less than halfway and lip up as if you were lip slurring up through the partials.
With the exception of the late Pete Fountain, clarinetists "play to the ground" also. Let's throw in oboe and English horn player, too. When a soloist plays as well as this one, they may play however they wish. But, you're correct, it's a little unsettling at first glance.
He was in a car crash when he was 4, permanently injuring his spine, so it's painful for him to sit down or raise his neck for extended periods of time.
the conductor is not conducting,he's not leading the orchestra, but the orchestra controlls him..if you watch his gesture carefully you'll see that he's waiting for the sound to produce and then he moves his hands also.
Agreed! The conductor seemed unprepared for transitions but the soloist and ensemble adjusted well as the performance progressed. The conductor seemed more of a hindrance initially.
Excellent , wonderful player ....... love to see him hold the instrument up a bit more instead of playing to the worms though . Is it me or are there NO lady players in the band ........c,mon guys , the girls are just as good.
In general, I agree. But I'm not sure there has been another trumpet player ever recorded with technique as good as Nakariakov. But music takes more than that and Dokshizer's performance of this seems to have far more musicality. Much of Nakariakov's playing on many different pieces strikes me as a bit machine-like. But as the years roll on, he is more and more developing interpretation rather than merely a perfect mechanical playing of the notes as written. I think for many prodigies this is the case. They have the technique very early, but just haven't lived enough life yet to add the feeling.
One of the trumpet gods at work. He captured the spirit of this piece. He is remarkable.
I believe this is the closest Sergei will ever get to jazz music

Sergei was in our contry before one month in Macedonia, he played Hora Staccato, it was so good, it sounds so good when you hear it in live :D
From Italy, very very very perfect and with soul.
I’ve never felt New York so deeply as the performance makes her
In this plague time I am so grateful to have the ability to hear this concert

Grandissima interpretazione di tutti.Nakariakov un mostro di bravura
So wonderfully sweet. Heard so many times in almost every form of media, but this one breaks your heart.
Great interpretation, congratulation to soloist and orchestra!
I have listened to the first few seconds so many times... It always seems so cool.
Braaaaaavooooooooo ! ! ! ! ! ! P E R F E C T ! ! ! ! 👏👏👏👏👏👏
it is so nice to listen to this music
Hvala ti, super su.

Just one word : Bravo !.....

beautiful phrasing
wonderful !!
Good point.
Though roughly ten years ago, he told us at his master class that he enjoys listening to jazz music on his spare time.
Just my two cents!
bijzonder mooi,fantasties
... sin pre-conceptos, ejecución diáfana: brillante ...
El millor am diferencia
Perfect...
Check out Reinhold Freidrich playing this. Both excellent trumpet players
HOW does he do that bend at the beginning
I can do a maximum of a third, not a whole damn octave
Oof you don’t lip bend, you half valve with all three valves and slur up to the c

him playing to ground bothered me more than it should have xD Beautiful playing!
His neck is screwed up from a car wreck when he was a small child.

good point. maybe they just added them for this specific piece.
this is pretty rad
my child really loved this !
heel erg mooi,perfect
*definitely not crying* *noopppe*
Is this not the sexiest thing you've ever heard?
Exactly. Especily the bearded B clarinet player:) and of course also xylofon player is :D
Congratulations to whomever arranged this. And shouldn't this be called a wind ensemble, not just brass?
Holy sh*t! That’s a trumpet!
Great work....., but missing significant voices and, high trumpet lead on the last notes!!!!
моща!
Not the smoothest gliss at the beginning but this dude is still a living legend
The conducter looks like Alan Davies
Beautiful performance, but, this brass ensemble sure has a lot of woodwind instruments in it! Why is that? Is that a Romanian thing or what?
#NeuryLuciano
is realy marvelous
9:40 oooof

Wow... cicular breath
everything is fabulous. but, wish he could raise the bell so not to play into the floor!
He was in a car crash when he was 4, permanently injuring his spine, so it's painful for him to sit down or raise his neck for extended periods of time.
@@Maou3 thank you for explaining. in that case, even more fabulous.
The late Adolph Herseth, arguably a rather fine trumpet player, always said ONLY the sound matters. Do everything for the SOUND.

"Excellent , wonderful player ....." was enough.

Look at 9:38
If I remember correctly it's difficult for him to play at a higher angle because of an Injury

A nice job, but I prefer Dokshizer. This guy is good, but pales in comparison to Dokshizer.
