Yes, goosebumps and tears. There is so much pain. It helps me release. The beautiful descant by the beautiful soprano on the balcony seems to sum up all the pain and anger I have ever felt. It hurt so much I couldn't stand it and I finally let go and cried my eyes out--something I've been needing for years. Music is the most healing and powerful high of all.
The Danish National Orchestra are first class, I think that they backed up Procal Harems live performance of a Whiter Shade of pale, they never seem to put in a bad performance, top notch, thank you for your reaction.
@@MarkCucchiara yes, but the stars were Eastwood, Van Cleef, Wallach. Aldo Giuffrè (officer in charge at bridge) and Mario Braga (sergeant at prison camp) are the most famous in the movie
The beauty of movie making in a nutshell:). Also this is also what USA basically is a mix of different nationalities that sought a new life on another continent.
Once in your life, go to a live concert or opera.🙏 This music is 'just' a western movie soundtrack (well... by the genious Enio Morricone). But in a live concert, you understand how it is made. And this is a priceless experience everyone must live, at least once in one's life.
@ajmiepuente481 - not just a movie, it was writen by Morricone, with support of Edda Dell'Orso. Not hard to believe at all. Pure masterpiece, considering Morricone background (a genius on his own). And pure masterpiece on the part of Sergio Leone. And also, in this case we have Tuva Semmingsen and Christine Nonbo Andersen - both a pure pros. Just check Tuva approach to something like a "Highlander - Who want to live forever" song.
magnificent music, and the silhouette of Clint Eastwood towering over everyone! gorgeousness! you involuntarily recall every western of his that you watched!..
It is okay to overcome by emotion by this pairing of musical pieces. The first time I saw this here on YT I myself was overcome by them. The music is much different without the movie itself playing in front of you. The music is just there in the background, in this setting it is brought to the forefront and truly allowed to shine in all of it's majesty. If music can touch someone at their core and cause an emotional response it is an amazing piece of art in and of itself. Ennio Morricone was a master at his craft. He was able to score the film with a much smaller orchestra, and this piece is ageless and timeless.
During the same concert they also did 'Once Upon a Time in the West'...in that Tuva (the 'wa-wa' girl..) takes the vocals...and she absolutely shines in it.
I saw your reactions. I saw the compassion and the yearning of more peace. . . And you found it and you were overly fond of the sounds. It was beautiful to watch.
Great reaction! Music brings out all the emotions and takes us to places in our fantasy that we can hardly imagine. The powers of music. When it is then performed in this way, it is optimal. I had the privilege of seeing this orchestra a few weeks ago in Fantasysymphony, I still get goosebumps. So Starr Larh if you ever I get the chance to see them here or any other symphonic orchestra playing this kind of music please take that chance. It's so powerful to see live. 😊
Just remember, people did this...a group of people, different backgrounds and nationalities, all pulling together and if ONE single note is out of place, ONE, the entire piece is ruined...I can't imagine the hard work, discipline and raw talent that goes into this, none of us will...OK having said that, this is from legendary composer Ennio Morricone (1928-2020) and among many others scores, this is his crowning achievement and many of todays composers have been heavily influence by him, legend just isn't enough, the director of this movie was Sergio Leone (1829-1989), another director who has also influenced many others like Martin Scorsese and Quinten Tarantino, legend doesn't do him justice either, both these men are way beyond that....OK the orchestra itself, world renowned and just listen to what else they have done... Tuva Semmingsen (Wah Wah) is a Norwegian Barocco and Mozart mezzo-soprano singer, she's wearing gun shaped earrings to boot! There's a harmonica in sync with her during those wah wah's and check out her other works, (Bang Bang), Christine Nobo Anderson is another beautiful singer, you have to have, besides the raw talent, an incredible amount of training to control your diaphragm and breathing to use such an instrument, the entire piece is just amazing and really is the only event I would pay a grand a ticket to see.
Italian instructor Sergio Leone made one of the finest Westerns ever, and I think it was recorded in Spain! And for his rather rough and brutal films he asked a classical Italian composer, Ennio Morricone to make the music, I think without Morricone actually saw the films? The now late Morricone later made music to many films, but always with a special sound.
Most movies and especially Westerns had huge budgets for the film's orchestration, Ennio Morricone did not, instead he employed off beat arrangements and instruments one does not associate with Hollywood soundtracks. When this low budget Italian western hit the theatres, Ennio's creation was a revelation and spurred a paradigm shift in film orchestration away from traditional arrangements, cementing Ennio's fame and reputation. He was a gifted composer who peers considered a musical genius
Great reaction, Starr! this fabulous orchestra does lots of videos showing live performances of film music, try more of music for western movies by Ennio Morricone and carry on from there. Happy listening!
Can I just say that I love you? I might have even stronger reaction to this, but you're just so perfect when you're listening to this and I just wanna show you more and more classics like this.
This is the theme plus one additional song from the western movie, "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly," the third and final movie in a trilogy starring Clint Eastwood. Believe it or not, the movie is as good as the music. The 3 films were all made in the 1960s. The music from the other two is just as good. The composer was Ennio Morricone. The movie director was Sergio Leone. He made a fourth similar brilliant movie called "Once Upon a Time in the West."
Welcome to the world of orchestral music 🤗 If you get the opportunity, go to a live concert…you can FEEL the music as well as hearing it ! Thanks for sharing 👍✨
This is the introduction song for the movie "The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly" 1966 staring Clit Eastwood. This is a very good movie for I have seen it many times. If you want to hear the original watch this movie. The movie starts rate after this song is over. This song became very popular for Clit Eastwood was and is a huge star!!
Starr, you just got a follow, one of the most genuine reactions I have ever seen, I am so glad you finally got a chance to hear this beautiful piece. Love N Light to you and best of luck. Hugs

It's worth pointing out that the "Wah, Wah Wah" singer is not making that sound by herself. There is a man playing Harmonica in unison with her who you see for about a second about 2 and a half minutes into your reaction.
they have done alot of movie stuff old westerns star wars Lord of the rings n what not Highlander , plus video game themes etc they are worldclass Cheers From Denmark
Fantastic song. You now need to watch the movie "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" so you can listen to it in the movie it was written for. Brilliant movie, one of my all time favourites.
That second half, the extasy of gold, has to be one of the absolute most beautiful and haunting pieces ever written. And it's almost 60 years old now.
Completely agree. Timeless brilliance!
Agreed
extacy of gold is also the song that metalica used to open their concerts .
Agree - but it's actually "Ecstasy of Gold".
Try Lacrimosa by Mozart, from his Requiem
The reactions to this song have got to be my favorite. I never tire of watching others respond to the layers upon layers of musical brilliance.
Ennio Morricone - maestro composer and also one of the best westerns ever made.
Goosebumps and tears. Great isn’t it? From the greatest western of all time.

Spagetti Western. Music by Ennio Morricone. He have made fantastic movie music. Nice that anybody wants to make a concert of his music.
Well done to the Dainish Symphony Orchestra👍 !!
Best orchestra i know off. Hands down.
Great performance of this immortal music by Morricone. 🙂
Majestic!!!
Beautifuil. Ennio Morricones was a great composer . You can feel that your soul is flying to another world.
Christene Nonbo Andersen will give you the chills when she sings soprano.
Majestic and beautiful 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I love your way of listening music. You didn't hit the pause once... love you for your real reaction... thanks
I am a Nightwish fan, and then you know, i li like this Masterpiece. 🤘
brilliant rendition by a world famous orchestra and a very good reaction as well thank you
Beautiful reaction, young lady, to beautiful music.

There were a ton of Italian actors, way more than the Americans.

The version that was actually in the movie wasn't nearly as elaborate as this piece. It was still a masterpiece of composition though.

Why is it hard to believe? I really don't understand the point of your comment.
It's amazing how this is identical to the theme in the movie. Seeing it put together like this just adds an extra level of intrigue.
Why the hell would it not be similar as it's the same music just an other orchester.
Music is the heartbeat of the world. ✌️❤️🇬🇧
Just art can make your soul smile!
Ennio Morircone's music is out of this planet...the "man with no name" trilogy, wouldn't be that great without his music....
Now go watch the movie. This is just two of the musical pieces from it, and the movie itself is classic, timeless, fantastic.
