Vinyl & Tape Style Lofi Comparison - 20 Pedals!

Today I play around with 20 pedals that achieve a lofi warbly tape or vinyl style sound. Some of these pedals were specifically meant for this purpose, some were not, but with a little creativity get you similar results. Time Stamps below.

That Eventide thing did not sound good at all. Sounded like a crummy software plugin slapped into a fancy box. The Chase Bliss was pretty nice. All others except the Eventide had a special something or another that made them interesting. Thank you for the video. Well done.

This is a pretty epic assembly of pedals! I’m not sure you missed any significant ones except maybe the Hexe and included a couple I didn’t even know about. I do think some of these get more into bit crushing which is a different game.

wow, what an insane effort you have put into this. for some reason, i've really been desiring a cassette tape sound and you've made it so much easier to narrow down the options.
