Just got a job on the golf course so imma start collecting I’ll balls I see laying around. U see a lot of them in the wooden areas, tall grass, and the sand pits, for what they are called I think it was called a bunker
My brother used to do this the old school way as young as 9 years old. He would sell them directly to golfers in the golf course in the green area where it's safe. Within a couple of years they converted it into a residential area.
Your math doesn’t make sense. Why would they pay a dollar a ball when they’re buying a dozen and then pay $2.40 when they’re buying in bulk? The price usually goes down when buying in bulk, not up.
“Live near a golf course” otherwise known as trespassing on to the golf course. The golf course resells those as “used”balls you’re just stealing from them (I work in the golf course industry)
Not trying to be a complete hater, but you managed to screw up the simplest concept of finding stuff and selling it... You said 12pc/$12......... then 500pc/$1200? There should be a discount buying in bulk, not a 110% premium. The point of buying in bulk is that you get a cheaper price per a ball. You could just do 500/1pc transactions and pay more than half of the bulk price. Maximizing profit that is measured in time/per ball, like any business, is increased by moving inventory. Bulk sales is the best way to do that. Plus, shipping is monotonous. The other issue is that every golf course already does this themselves or has someone doing it. Cleaning out the rough and hazards is literally free labor,, or asking an employee to do it that is already being paid to be there. It's a fun idea, but not exactly an emerging market.
500 balls for 1200n dollars is overpriced I recommend around 75 cents a ball

Love this one. I have been wanting to do this. Going to message some courses in my area.
Let me know how it turns out!

Any luck ?
Where’s the update buddy
$1 a piece
$12 a dozen
$1200 per 500
I’m not sure that math adds. Maybe 1200 for $500
I want to do this so bad and i want to make it my business but my mom says I can’t go to golf course because I’m to little and I can’t go by myself
Find a couple friends so not by yourself

that bulk part got me too, should be $250 for 500 plus finding and cleaning 500 golf balls isn't easy
Can i do it when your 14 years old
That’s what I’m wondering
How do you contact the owner of the course?
Call the course and ask for the manager.
Just fished out 200+ balls selling the non branded for .50 cents easy money
How do you sell so many balls at once to somone that lives far away
I have done it for 4 years and i probly make 400 pr month
Nice!
I wouldn't think good golfers need to buy so many balls. Only bad golfer need a lot of balls. And bad golfers don't care what kind of balls they hit.
bad take! Everyone has balls and everyone needs balls
Every course want money to dive in their Lake to get golfballs, i work on a golfcourse
What kind of hustle is this? Don't you fear of drowning while looking for ball? You might get bitten by snake?
This is a low profile side hustle in golf. Why waste time collecting used balls when you can just buy from a wholesalers and sell online
where can you find wholesalers
Does this still work in 2024
Yes
I see people still doing it.
@@mastermoneycocould I possibly do this at 13
