This is really what it’s all about. Trevor says it perfectly when he sounds so excited about the dust, and the smell, and the dirt. That is what it’s all about. It’s about the story, it’s about the drive, it’s about the people you meet, and they’ve known, it’s seeing how happy the previous owner is to see it go to someone who loves it. You guys get it. I can almost guarantee i’m the youngest person you’ve seen with the dream to open a vintage guitar shop recently. I haven’t had the chance to own much of anything that isn’t player grade, but i’m getting there. I think a lot of the people my age don’t get it yet. I will continue to chase after these things my whole life. It’s about the hunt.
Yes! My buddy just sent me a photo today. Literally, a barn find, damn near mint '68 LP Custom. Bought new by the owner, out in the barn from '70. A couple of guys hired to clean out the barn, were instructed 'yeah, just throw out that old guitar'. The workman called my friend's friend, 'hey, they're throwing out an old guitar. Do you want it?' Yes! Turns out to be a '68 Custom. Yes folks, it DOES still happen! Just wishing it would happen to me!!
These episodes about the stories and history is amazing. I can’t get enough. I get the same thrill finding super good deals on budget sleeper gear. Stuff that no one cares about but sounds super good.

Was visiting my brother in Seattle recently and got to visit this shop. Can’t understate how seriously awesome this place is. Staff and the brothers had such a great vibe too. If I’m ever in Seattle again there is no doubt I’m checking it out again!
