This was very helpful. You could add cleaning and oiling instructions to this excellent video.

Appreciate you sharing your insights on the Daewoo DP51 in 40 cal. Looking to pick up a Daewoo pistol and am leaning more towards the 40 cal. Love the triple action as well. However, I do wish that the sights could be upgraded to those found on the LH9 (Novak I believe).
I have a Daewoo rifle and it is a sweetheart. Looking to pair it with a Korean pistol.
Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and have a fantastic weekend, my friend.

Do You know of a Laser Sight that will fit the DH40? I've been searching for one for a future purchase [ of the DH40, don't currently own]. I would very much like to outfit it with a LS, but can't find. As you know, the DH40 does not have a rail system [ non H&K ] , so it makes it difficult. Would very much appreciate any feedback.
    Thanks!

I'm sorry for replying so late! There are some trigger guard mounted laser sights available, just search "Universal trigger guard laser" and you should be able to find one. The DH40 is very similar to smith and wesson semi auto handguns like the 4906 and 5900. A trigger guard laser is pretty much the only option with this model unless you were to have a rail added to the frame by a machinist

There is NO third action the hammer is either cocked or dropped by the trigger, it dose not move in a third direction, this is just marketing, This type mechanism is known as a 2 stage trigger and is not new. And what is the advantage here? on long guns that have a 2 stage the logic is a lighter trigger for accuracy, but that isn't the deal here because a single action shot would throw the sights off much less, so.....???....Marketing? This is like calling a revolver a gatling gun.

Michael Friscia I liked it for competition shooting. Allowed you to have the single action weight, but put the hammer down which is required for double action handguns in some shooting disciplines. Gave a significant first shot advantage over traditional double action pistols, especially in “stock” categories. Beyond that it’s really just an interesting and sort of fun feature.
I didn’t come up with the nomenclature, so I won’t really go into that. All I can say is it is not your typical double action and it certainly is unique.
