I have an LH9, with mine having brown textured grips. I do agree that the carry case is well appointed and it contained my first introduction to Frog Lube (which I've gotten away from, but that's another story!). Interestingly enough, mine did come with a 13 round mag and a 15 round mag. It does shoot well to point of aim. Staging the triple action trigger does have a benefit for precision shooting. The only downside to me is the safety, which is very small. Being double/single action capable, I've found it easier to ignore the safety and use the double action and the best safety (my trigger finger off the trigger until ready to shoot and of course my mind). All in all, overall a nice pistol! I think I'll take mine to the range tomorrow! Thanks for sharing Misha!

I handled a Daewoo 9 mm. It seems well made. The “triple action” seems to be a good idea. I believe FN had a similar “triple action” a few years back. This was a very good presentation

my brother in law bought a daewoo pistol in the late 90s.....he said the slide to frame fitment easily became loose.....maybe due to not hard enough steel material....he sold it after 3000 rounds

I love my LH9N, awesome gun. My only issue with them is the poorly heat treated magazine spring that has weakened after only a few years of use. Possible I just got a bad one, but planning to buy a new one to replace it soon

I have a decent size military arms collection and after 20 plus years of collecting I finally stumbled upon a Lionheart but it was the LH9C the weird thing is its a LH9C but has the 1913 accessory rail on the frame,and doing research I cannot find a LH9C with a rail,the larger LH9 has a rail and Also the MK2 but cannot find 1 LH9C with rail online can anyone give me some info on this,and also it does seem like a mid-higher quality pistol but the frame to slide fitment is about as loose as a 104 year old hooker
@@misha5670 last time I looked the new Lion Heart guns were considerably pricier, but that was more than a year ago for sure. I might have to check it out again. These things aren't likely to be flying off the shelf the same way a Glock or clone is.
The LH9 in this video is Jay's and it was one of the guns he put up for auction recently to afford something else. While it sold for $600 on GB, the 'winner' has a negative rating so chances are he won't pay. Thus it will get relisted. You might want to check for the relisted auction?
But does the gun just automatically put itself into single action when it senses rooftop level elevation? (Edit: I don’t consider that racist but rather a term of endearment...kinda like Irish and drinking. Please don’t cancel me.) On a serious note I knew nothing about these until I watched this video. That’s innovative you can flick the hammer down. Misha do you see any advantage with that vs a decocking lever? I guess because you can have that system and a manual safety?
This is probably a dumb question but...how does it work mechanically when you push the hammer down so that it doesn’t hit the firing pin and go bang? My guess is the hammer stops just short (like 1/8th cocked) and only does the full motion when the trigger is pressed?
I honestly do think the system is good. It is more flexible and ambidextrous than say with a P226. Keep in mind, this pistol was designed in the mid & late '80s. And no worries, not part of the 'cancel culture.'
Google up some pics of the Walther P88 too, esp the control layout. Just as they did with the K2, with the K5 Daewoo simply copied what they felt were the best features from several guns around at the time.

Me and my tastes... I like hammer fired pistols more than striker fired most of the time. Each has their pros and cons of course. On most rifles and shotguns, there is still a hammer buts internal. It’s much easier to make an internal hammer on a rifle or shotgun just due to size, and also hammers on rifles and shotguns tend to work like single action on pistols in that the trigger does nothing to cock the hammer. One of my favorite guns in my collection is a Winchester model 1897 shotgun with an exposed hammer. It works great, and you can hold the trigger down & pump for some cowboy shooting fun.

Don't forget that the triple action may give a second chance to re-try a misfire. Something no other gun offers to the best of my understanding.
Your comparison to the SIG is appropriate since the Fobus SG-21 holster (designed for the P220/P226/P228) fits the DP51 perfectly.

The frame reminds me of the Beretta. 92fs but the rest reminds me of the old smith and wesson 3rd gen/5900 series

Why are hammers still on pistols in 2020? I seen westerns, rifles,shotguns with hammers but not today...

I went the internal hammer route with the M1912 myself. I like its cleaner and more modern lines, but hey, just me.
