That’s so awesome that you got the guy out and didn’t just walk away. Plus I want to commend you for calling help in before getting into trouble. And for giving the shout out the the company that helped you out. You’re definitely a man of integrity. Once again, amazing video. Love your channel
Hats off to you for getting Shorty to lend a hand and not letting ego get in the way of a successful recovery. And to share his site if someone needs help. Thats the heart & mind of a true professional. Cudos to you and Kristen for always putting the customer and their vehicle to the front of all your recoveries.
I took his comment to say that he should have listened to common sense when his wife said to go up, and he was pointing to the right. But instead he went down.
I have not seen anything that shorty could not get out he has the equipment and the knowledge I ran a service truck for him in Knoxville when I first moved up here his one great person and he is a good friend
I've called him many times and he will tell me we will get It out! If I have to bring the skid steer, excavator, and the jeep we will make it happen. He is a great friend and always ready on the first ring!
Love watching you work. Every physics teacher needs to have their classes watch your work. The extent to which you and your team work together to get the job done without any damage to the vehicle. Shorty and Jeff are truly professionals. Don’t see 2 grown men put aside egos much anymore to get a job done. Just a great job and awesome watch. Kristen and Shorty’s assist were essential to the team.
No shame in asking for help if you need it! Awesome job, teamwork is AWESOME! It pays off big time to have a good relationship with other professionals, we see it in the marine business quite often. "That was intense"...Yes Ma'am, it was fo sho'!
Egads…….this gives a WHOLE new meaning to a Creekside drive.! Holy cow!!! Perseverance and teamwork and problem solving and bravery…wow, just wow!!! EA and Shorty and Zach RoCk!
That was a great tight quarters winch out. Great job and my hats off to you for knowing when to call in reinforcements. Some people would let their ego get the better of them and caused more damage. Love watching your videos. 👊
I went to Gatlinburg and all I got was a tow bill, L0L. But, after that fiasco I'll bet the owner was happy to be on the road again at any cost. Good job everyone.
What a great man you are Jeff, we plan on coming in October we would like to take you and your wife to dinner for the kindness you have shown other ppl and because we love ya'll. 👍👍
Teamwork is dream work!! My Dad always chose to work with other small independents whenever help was needed. Sure we competed in the same area both in the wrecker and at beer thirty (lol). I miss those days of challenging recoveries so just live it through youtube. Oh, your wife is soooooo good at comforting and explaining to the customer what is going on, how did she learn so much about towing?
Yes it is, we just wanna get the job done as safe as possible. If we lose that vehicle while trying to recover it you may as well have never called us at all! My wife has just always been by my side helping in anyway, that is how she learned most everything I'm going to do before I do It. Thanks so much for tagging along Philip!
Hi jeff, just watched your video. Wow that job i think is one of a kind.you really utilized all of what has to be done. And its also a clear proof of "its not wrong to ask for help". It also proved that you're really a good friend, 'coz you can call a friend to help and they didn't hesitated to come and help. "SHOUT OUT"👍👍👍 to you GUYS, keep up the good deeds jeff and god bless,
OMG - away to team up together for the good of the customer. I'm not sure of any other companies that would do that. Way to go guys. I know customer thought his truck was a gonner.Still know know what he was thinking. Maybe walk up before you drive up. ♥️😊
Jeff and Kristin kudos for you two going the extra mile and getting additional help to pull the guy out of that nasty area. It looked like it took the better part of the day. Great job again.
Man you will do whatever you can to help people out. If people knew the things you do to help other folks they wouldn’t yell at you for towing them for illegal parking lol. Yall did a really good job getting those people out of that pickle.
My dumb ass thinks I can get that out with a pile of heavy long ratchet straps, a good shackle, and a winch. I know I shouldn't think it but dammit I do. You and Shorty killed it! Gatlinburg is lucky to have you all
What a great job guys and a great team up with fellow tower and if I ever need anything you will be the first person I call. I live here and sometimes getting around in a Corvette is hairy. Great video
Had to be $2000 recovery! Remote location, confined and technical circumstances with several workers helping. Maybe $2500 but still a lot cheaper than massive damage to the truck if not total destruction if it went over
Well I should kept my comments to the end,,🤣 my bad,, good job guys,, pleasantly entertained,, we have had to get together and drag a buddy out on some of our excursion's,, recovery's are always fun🤣🤣👍👍😎🇺🇸
Can never be too proud to ask for help... As a note. I've used multiple trees using the wheel straps and form a common pull location for the pulley.. just info for the info bank.. not a slam.
It's amazing how many people drive up these dirt roads with cliffs on either side. And you show so many people who are lucky that their car didn't go all the way to the bottom.
I mentioned your channel over on the Yankee In The South channel during their livestream. They mentioned your channel seemed to be growing. Should be sending ya a few new subs! Your welcome lol
Ida had my buddy bring six 2x10s, 6 feet long. Jacked up the front and put one board under the front tires and repeat for the rear so the truck is level left to right. Then lay 2 more boards in front of each of the ones under the tires. Cut the wheel and drive it back onto the path. As long as the left and right tire are on the same board the weight of driver's side tires on the board would keep the passenger side up level with the path so you could drive it right back onto the path.
I learned from an old timer in a place like that he steered the wheels to the down side and the back toward the up side. Sounds stupid but it worked. My jaw was open. This place is tricky for sure. Hooking low on most trees is really strong. . Just watching as you go and stay safe.
East Tenn here.... I saw the Florida tag....in Smokies....... And they wonder why we call them Floridiots!!!!!!!!!!!! Used to have two prices in our shop. Local and anyone who first sentence is " Hi we're from Florida.." Price.
That’s so awesome that you got the guy out and didn’t just walk away. Plus I want to commend you for calling help in before getting into trouble. And for giving the shout out the the company that helped you out. You’re definitely a man of integrity. Once again, amazing video. Love your channel
A true professional, knowing when to call in additional resources to avoid further complications. GREAT TEAM WORK GUYS.
Why risk tow truck for a clown that couldn't give you any details not even the gate
Hats off to you for getting Shorty to lend a hand and not letting ego get in the way of a successful recovery. And to share his site if someone needs help. “My wife made me do it” was our first clue.
Great work, everybody. I am amazed by your beautiful hearts and tenacity.
The first thing I noticed…blame the wife. 🙄
I took his comment to say that he should have listened to common sense when his wife said to go up, and he was pointing to the right. But instead he went down.

I was thinking the same thing that it takes a big man to know when to call in help, great job you guys 👍
Again, what a great team, cool, calm, patient, excellent companies & friends. Positive example for other tow companies & people. 👍👍
Nice to see that you guys did a great job teaming up with another fellow tow company. Great team work and great videos.
That put a new meaning to off road recovery Matt would be proud lol
I love the lights on his Shorty's truck. Turns night into day
For sure a ton of LED!!
No shame in asking for help if you need it! Awesome job, teamwork is AWESOME! It pays off big time to have a good relationship with other professionals, we see it in the marine business quite often. "That was intense"...Yes Ma'am, it was fo sho'!
No shame in that game !!!!
Love the team work. Local business supporting another local business.
Just came across your channel, great job y'all! Can't believe that guy blamed his wife 🤦♀️
who else would he blame?
From one Floridian to another, what the heck were you thinking 🤪
That was an awesome recovery. Professional work all around
Egads…….this gives a WHOLE new meaning to a Creekside drive.! Holy cow!!! Perseverance and teamwork and problem solving and bravery…wow, just wow!!! EA and Shorty and Zach RoCk!

Zac rolling down the embankment was hilarious. I laughed way too hard at that.

Awesome video, towing, the extended version, lol....Got er' done, that's all that matters. Thanks for sharing and safe travels!
You all went above and beyond what most tow companies would do. What would the cost be on that job. Great work
What a recovery . Had me on the edge of my seat .

Wow! That was intense. That dude needed to call that one long before he got there.
Know when to fold them
Just another great Video . I can’t imaging running these roads. Stay safe
You have to respect a man who will acknowledge when he can't do a job and can call for help.
OMG - away to team up together for the good of the customer. I'm not sure of any other companies that would do that. Way to go guys. I know customer thought his truck was a gonner.Still know know what he was thinking. Maybe walk up before you drive up. ♥️😊

@@monascrews8600 Yep spot on ! Lol
Sounds like a Chicago accent.@@monascrews8600
Boy he threw his wife right under the bus off the bat. Lol 🤣
Thats some awesome tow truck drivers
Awesome job to you guys. So glad i found your channel.
Man you will do whatever you can to help people out. If people knew the things you do to help other folks they wouldn’t yell at you for towing them for illegal parking lol. Yall did a really good job getting those people out of that pickle.
I love the brilliance of the driver! LOL
Tow trucks charge an arm and a leg because they often don't know how to do offroad rescue and take A LOT more time to do it. Glad you could help.
What a great job. what a blessing
My dumb ass thinks I can get that out with a pile of heavy long ratchet straps, a good shackle, and a winch. I know I shouldn't think it but dammit I do. You and Shorty killed it! Gatlinburg is lucky to have you all
Wow, just wow, great job! And the guy at the end worried about his mirror 😂
What a great job guys and a great team up with fellow tower and if I ever need anything you will be the first person I call. I live here and sometimes getting around in a Corvette is hairy. Great video

Just WOW! Great job guys!
Great Job you have to know your limitations. and you made the right call when you have a need for another look and opinion do not hesitate!
Good video,love your channel
That was a pucker job right there! Nice work.
Had to be $2000 recovery! Remote location, confined and technical circumstances with several workers helping. Maybe $2500 but still a lot cheaper than massive damage to the truck if not total destruction if it went over

The only way I would/could even begin to attempt to do it would be with a tracked skid steer with a winch box. Plenty of cable and snatch blocks.
Can never be too proud to ask for help... As a note. I've used multiple trees using the wheel straps and form a common pull location for the pulley.. just info for the info bank.. not a slam.
I take all the great ideas I can get, Thank you Michael!!
Double thumbs up for this one dude. Great job
Great call brother. Y’all make a great team
It's amazing how many people drive up these dirt roads with cliffs on either side. And you show so many people who are lucky that their car didn't go all the way to the bottom.

Wow you guys earned your money, hat's off to shorty at Stooksbury he has been in the area for sometime..Thanks great video
Literally almost brought his Chevy to a levee
Hahaha! Love it!!
But it wasn't dry!

City people going to the mountains and don't want to walk. You were so professional and realized you needed reinforcements. Great job done.
Amazing recovery!
Awesome team work an recovery stay Safe my friends until the next one
Thanks 👍
Shorty knows how to tow!
I Love you guys, please ui a glass with water in it. to SHOW how steep those roads are !!!
Love this! Amazing! It seems like some the worst rescues are at NIGHT!
I wonder how much this set this guy back? This took a great deal of time and effort. This road is meant for tractors and 4-wheelers only.
I guess better that week than the end of August when there was torrential rains and flooding. Nice team work!
Good see back in Smoky Mountail
Thanks James!!
Just kinda stumbled on you're channel. Really like it. Ill be checking you out. Great video. 👍
Thank you Thomas, we appreciate y’all tagging along!!
Love you guys and shortys
Oh my that was intense! That was an expensive lesson for that man!
Awesome recovery! Good job!
I have used Hand Wenches and Straps to get trucks out of deep Mud ! There is always away !
For sure!
That was a rough spot job well done
Owner says "but I have 4 wheel drive"
Didn't even look like the Silverado was a 4x4. Dude should have least sprung for a Trail Boss and gave himself a chance at making it.
@@michealmjh I like how he blamed his wife for him doing a dumb.
Hey Jeff I hope he had to pay for y’all’s trip out to L.A for that stupidity move there buddy!!😂😂
Why would a person drive a nice vehicle on that road? It amazes the heck out of me.
From Florida - no surprise and probably from NJ before that.
I learned from an old timer in a place like that he steered the wheels to the down side and the back toward the up side. Sounds stupid but it worked. My jaw was open. This place is tricky for sure. Hooking low on most trees is really strong. . Just watching as you go and stay safe.
Whoa, this is one for the books!
It sure is.
Shit! Around my neck of the woods we could get that out with a cheap hand winch and a floor jack.
Great collaboration, enjoy the ride.
East Tenn here.... I saw the Florida tag....in Smokies....... And they wonder why we call them Floridiots!!!!!!!!!!!! Used to have two prices in our shop. Local and anyone who first sentence is " Hi we're from Florida.." Price.
Ohhh myyyy is right 😱😱😱. What were these people thinking. 🤦♀️🤦♀️
I betcha that guy was from Broward or Dade County Fl unbelievable.
Expensive lesson great job.
Its a shame that trucks are so expensive today. twenty years ago that would have been written off as not cost effective to recover!
Looking in your rear view mirror, I thought you had someone on the back of the wrecker. Lol.
Shaking my head at the guy for attempting this trail
