That said, the drones are really effective: they ignore shields, can fly straight through a ship and come round for a second go, are agile so can dodge interception or destroy fighters, and two have been seen to destroy a Hatak on their own! Then again the Asgard were around at the same time as the Ancients (The Torment of Tantalus), so they've had at least an extra 10,000 years to improve!

what they should have done is take the 1st super gate to Pegasus then give the wraith the address of the ori galaxy super gate, imagine how fast those ori ships would head back through the super gate when they started getting reports of monsters feeding on their families all that would need to be done then would be to design a shield that could act as an iris for the super gate then when the ori try to return they get a nasty surprise
the supergate is made of individual parts that are designed to fit in the gate, thats how it was built, there is an episode in season 9 when this is shown, as far as getting hold of the wraith that could be done by activating the gate once in Pegasus the wraith would detect it, go to the gate location in time to see a 304 go thru they would follow and wow their would be wraith in the ori home galaxy, you would have an iris over the milky way supergate so they couldn't come here. problem solved
I thought Gate busters used Naqahdriah which is why it was so much more powerful compared to the others, and all the other ones used Naqahdah to make them more effective against capital ships.
@masterchief454 the goa'uld shields are weak compared to ori or ancient shields which are impenetrable as long as the energy requirements are met, since the goa'uld shields also have to deal with stress and not only power requirements.
i doubt the gate network extends that far. we know the ancients only visited 3 galaxies, but IF it was 410 galaxies away you would need a fair few ZPM'S.

i was thinking what if "Micheal" had disabled the jamming codes before the battle began and they could have beamed over the gass to both hives, they might have been able to have 3 304s, 2 hives and the aurora waiting for the ori on top of the hitaks (spelled wrong) and the asguard, of course they could have just put a shield over the super gate (bad for vala) or opened fire as soon as the came through(no time to raise shields), beam nukes on board or board and capture the ships???????
the only reason they beat the ancients is because of their greater numbers. and i believe it is obvious the wraith do not outnumber the ori. also the ancient technology was based on a passive way of life while the ori is more aggresive.
actually two hives of wraith could have been very helpful, imagine the shitfit the priors would have thrown when they started feeding on ori followers(not the same as before but funny)as far as not traveling between galaxies, that is what they were doing when confronted(i know they had to stop for regeneration).hives make better battering rams than hitak. besides ever notice why the ori never made a play for Pegasus their ships could leave the galaxy,look at unending, maybe they fear the wraith

Actually a rail gun uses magnets instead of an explosive charge in order to fire a weapon. Thus, no O2 is needed in order to fire.
