All the franchises do have good space battles. The ones from Stargate look better due to modern CGI graphics. If you would remake some Battles from Star Trek (Battle of Wolf 359 or Sacrifce of Angels (With shields god damnit)) or Star Wars (Final Battle in Episode 6) they would definetly keep up with Stargate. But since this won't happen: I agree with you, Stargate Battles are the best and there are plenty of them :)

They did. However, Humans had the capacity to improve upon what was given to them whereas the Goa'uld lacked that. That is why the Asgard were able to kick their asses for so long is because they were incapable of making the intellectual leaps that would have allowed them to improve their technology to an equal or greater level.

I thought it was awesome when the F302 fighters had short range FTL engines. The Tauri are really inventive.

Man, I almost forgot how amazing the Pegasus replicators story was. Every time I watch a different SG series I think "No, *this one is my favourite."

They had no need to improve there technology because the only beings that could challenge them were each other and the asgard, and the asgard were so far beyond them there was no point in trying.

true, but it dosent really make sense. Are ships are smaller then all the others, are weapons are weaker, and are tech is pathetic, but are ships always seem to kick everything else's ass

the goa'uld was devided into countless of factions into their own civil war and they forgot about earth and therefore where not prepared for war. its like ww2, the french where not prepared at war and therefore got their ass kicked in a few days.

@Ryagful it was in development it got quite far into it but apparently they had very bad management that wasted tons of money, the company eventually went bankrupt.

@Ryagful I want someone, preferably Bioware or Bethesda, to make a Stargate RPG. Seriously, it would be amazing. Recruit your own SG Team, kill some Goa'uld, gather allies, fly 304's, oh yea.

@disturbedfan1100 1) In alternate realities LOTS, in 'this' reality technically we never got invaded-we made them leave (it gets complicated) and then we came and annoyed them 2000yrs later. 2) Lots 3) We had several bigs ships (f304's i think, maybe f303's.) The Korolev,The Daedalus, The Oddessy,The Prometheus, The Aurora, The lost city of Atlantis and probably more in stargate universe. Watch the show! :D

i've never seen this show so i got few question about that show: 1. did earth ever get invaded? 2. is there any kind of an alliances like federation from star trek 3. did humans even have a fleet or were we just ppl with that one ship if any1 could answer me i'd be more than glad. thx!
