- Authorities have confirmed that a video showing a man dancing on a video game on his own at an arcade is Sandy Hook Elementary School shooter Adam Lanza. In the footage, which was uploaded to RUclips six months before the 2012 attack, Lanza is seen playing Dance Dance Revolution at a movie theater arcade near his home in Danbury, Connecticut. The 20-year-old was reportedly obsessed with the game, sometimes spending 10 hours a day dancing to the video. #InsideEdition

Adam Nelson i agree but this footage does appear to look exactly like the alleged 'adam' was described; from the body shape to the haircut it looks like him, I really do believe it was a hoax but this is the only thing that has me slightly stumped as it is 'actual footage' do you have any idea how they would have managed to fake this?

I agree 110%. I'm all for believing and griefing for young kids. BUT there is ZERO video proof of Lanza in or around the school. The Media will show us dead babies from bombings in Syria but not a video of Lanza walking armed into a school. I only ask the media they show PROOF this event is real.

Silly Putty They probably got the video, because and employee or another person at the theater thought he looked weird dancing to the game, and thus began to film him. You can even hear them chuckling a bit, trying not the laugh too hard to get his attention. The authorities probably found out that that was Lanza through the employees at the theater. They say he was obsessed with the game and would even play up to 10 hrs a day. The employees probably knew him from his obsession with the game and when shown the video, was able to easily recognize him as the “crazy dude that would come in every day and play dance dance revolution for 10 hrs”.

Apparently they proved it because his phones GPS records matched the time and day this was taken, and he is also wearing Adams trademarked outfit of an oversized hoodie and kahkis. This was in the arcade of this movie theater nearby which he went to alot with a friend, the dude who filmed it said in a facebook post thatd he'd seen him about 4 times just dancing all day and filmed it as a local oddity sort of thing

If Lanza was captured playing COD, BF, Halo, or any type of shooting game or any type of violent game like GTA, the media would have a FIELD day saying how violent video game is the reason for the shooting.
