Josh Duggar should have been tried, convicted, jailed, and registered as a sex offender early on, forced to stand on stage on the Steve Wilkos Show after being released from incarceration to answer for what he did to his younger sisters, have said talk show host up in his face, and suffer his wrath. Jimbob and Michelle should have also suffered the wrath of said talk show host with Josh on national TV.
The thing I like abt these documentaries is that they take all opinions into consideration, some ppl still seem like IBLP isn’t the issue: josh is. Some ppl believe josh is a victim of circumstance being brought up in the IBLP, some sides hate it all: are ex-IBLP ppl, some ppl were just Christian youtubers as well as some RUclipsrs who kinda snark on Christians as a whole, and some ppl who I think may still be religious but have separated church from IBLP bc it was never Christianity to begin w
The curriculum as per “Mr. Gothard” basically made it entirely the fault of the victims for existing in a manner which caused a man to do/think in an impure manner. That they were the ones that’s needing of self reflection and self questioning to determine what they may do to make things right with the Lord and make them whole again in His eyes. It’s REALLY messed up teachings. Not only does it blame sleeping children, but now they are guilty of committing the acts that are considered sins, and they are responsible to atone for their transgressions. It’s not Josh’s fault for “stumbling” you wicked woman made him. That language pops up in Anna about supporting her fallen man, her duty is to help him right himself. She has been conditioned to believe his failures in being faithful (Ashley Madison and the CSM) are her fault and she must do better to prevent him stumbling again.

That was the church culture they were in . It wasn’t about age and grades. Everyone just hung out . Different rules applied .

I know my opinion doesn't matter but I think Jim Bob and Michelle should be locked up and throw away the key.

Yeah there are plenty of homeschoolers who aren’t like this me being included. And there are many public school kids who are just as bad.
It isn’t the homeschooling that is the problem. It was the ideals and beliefs of Bill Gothard & IBLP that was the force behind all of this.
