My friend did the simular. He bought his first valve grinder and left the automotive machine shop. And sold his 69 Z28 and started his own machine shop. Now has some very good equipment and a dyno.

I’ve followed some of Keith’s bonneville engine builds , he’s a wizard . I wish I had the knowledge about engines he’s forgotten over the year let alone knows . Took an sb2 and deleted 2 cylinders to make a v6 to fit in a certain class .

Kieth is an AWESOME MAN! He thinks "outside the box".....My friend is much like him, probably why his shop walls are covered in photos of the National Champions and World LSR holders in many different categories from Cars to Motorcycles.

On the Bobby Allison reck.
Or truck driver went to the track and found a bend small straight Snap On screwdriver bent about 90 deg. He asked all the teams if there were missing one. All of them said no.

In most scenarios, you need to know the entire engine combo to answer that question as it's a function of plenum size.
