“Sounds like I heard this in a movie”
Correct. Every movie 😂
Music rights are less expensive to this ---- criminal
🤣🤣 probably even heard it on commercials
@@cba2286 seriously? I had no idea, that is criminal.
Julia Roberts and Susan Sarandon movie called Step Mom.... it was featured..
They probably heard it in Remember The Titans.
This was in Sister Act, Remember the Titans, Guardians of the Galaxy, and many others through the generations. Great song written by Ashford and Simpson and also sung by Diana Ross.
I always remember of Medianeras, an Argentinean movie, when I hear this song
Stepmom should’ve been the first
Can’t forget Designing Women and Suzanne’s massive costume disaster
These are young men - they would have seen Guardians, Titans, and maybe Sister Act but not Designing Women. You two are the best! Thank you for the fun and memories.
They should've heard in at least in Gardians of the Galaxy, for their age range
Ok. Gotta check out Bill Withers' "Ain't No Sunshine".
One of my favorites its on my Playlist
"Ain't no Sunshine" was on the radio when I was very young, maybe pre-schoolish. Even at that young age, that song would take me out of the moment & pull me into it. Completely, encompassing me...even at that young age. I love that song.
Pretty positive they’ve done it
@@stevietalk1 if they have, it's not on their channel anymore. All they have from Withers is Lean on Me and Grandma's Hands
After Ringo joined the Beatles they became 4...So who was the 5th Beatle...come on u can do it...think...ok...I'll help u out...it is none other than.......
Bill Withers.
SIDE NOTE:
-Bill helped w/ writing lyrics, puttin/layin down trax, & playin on record recordings.
-Harry Neilson brought a radical new direction 2 music & the Beatles.
-The Beatles, Robin Williams, Al Green, & a few others were tight & made their time fly...& so did they.
I Heard It Through the Grapevine and What’s Going On should be heard!
Marvin Gaye “sexual healing” is another great song
i need electoral healing
They too young to be out here making babies 😳🤭😁💯

Y'all got to give Tammi Terrell her props in the uploaded title too...c'mon now. Marvin & Tammi recorded 2 entire album of duets and they are both on point full of classic songs.
Marvin & Tammi- You're All I Need
Marvin & Tammi- Your Precious Love
Marvin & Tammi- Ain't Nothing Like The Real Thing
I'm one of 7 children, we use to sing this song to each other growing up. My oldest brother started it lol. When we see each other we will still start singing it. No matter where we are lol
My kids too. There are 7!
@@jenking5936 that's wonderful! How many girls and how many boys? I have two brothers and five sisters
@NAD SNATCHER I hope so as well. Our children and nieces and nephews have a different song but they will sing it when they see each other. Their song is cabin fever from The Muppets Treasure Island move 😂
That’s adorable 🥰
Marvin Gaye songs you should react to are "Sexual Healing" "Whats Going On" "Got To Give It Up" " i Heard It Through The Grapevine" and "Lets Get On" (TWIN FACES will be hilarious)
Heard it through the grapevine.
Yes! “Got to give it up” wd definitely have the twins jumping! Banger!! 😂😂😂
Marvin had a bunch with Tammy Terrell great Chemistry sad she died so young love Ain't Nothing Like the Real thing by them Marvin was an amazing singer at the top of Motown

Marvin Gaye’s voice is legendary. His discography is epic, filled with classic bangers like this to social commentary like What’s Going on. You can’t go wrong with whatever you pick.
Love Marvin Gaye...so talented. This is such a feel-good song, and Marvin and Tammy sing it so well, I get goosebumps hearing it. ❤️
Marvin is awesome and you need to react to his song “What’s Goin On”👍💯
Yeeeesssss 🙌🏻
Oh yea! Thanks for the reminder of this great and relevant song. I'm going to listen to that right now, it's been too long.
Here's a link to it with the lyrics. ruclips.net/video/r6jKE6YIxmc/видео.html It's a beautiful song and heartbreaking that it's still relevant 40 years later.
One million thumbs up!! Please, please, please react to "What's Going On?", Pretty PLEASE??? Thank y'all & you're welcome! 🙏🙏🙏✌️✌️✌️🕊️🕊️🕊️❤️❤️❤️
Marvin's "What's Going On" album is a classical masterpiece.
Still blows my mind how he died. Can't even imagine how much great music he could've made if he were still around.
Tragic death
Tammi died at 24, I loved her voice. Marvin never really got over her death.
And that’s facts!!!!!!
I remember when they had announced he died, I think it was on April Fool's day and it pissed people off because nobody thought that was funny and sadly, it was true. Such a big loss because he was just getting back on track. RIP Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell
I believe he died in an argument with his Father, who shot him...very, very sad! When he died, it hurt, the loss to his music genre was painful.
You knew, with his death, there was a huge hurt for humanity😭
MARVIN and TAMMI (You're All I Need To Get By) ( Ain't Nothing like The Real Thing )
I feel ya !!!
The Prince & Princess Of Motown. Rip! Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell ❤
You should read up on his friendship with Tammi Terrell. He was a true friend till the end and her death almost destroyed him. Please look up her biography. She had a very rough 24 years on this Earth. I think Marvin Gaye and her mom were the only two people she could truly depend on. 😥
BET did an Unsung doc on her yrs ago. I need 2 revisit that myself.
Marvin and Tammi had truly a platonic freindship
Wow! I never knew much about her! I need to check that out as well!
Correction TV1 did the Unsung.
Tammi collapsed in Marvin’s arms on stage and was diagnosed with a brain tumor. They were like brother and sister...no romance. He was devastated when she died.
Marvin Is the greatest- Listen to Heard Through The Grapevine!!
Heard it thru the Grapevine must be on your list! Awesome “Banger” song, maybe his best. Cant sit still when you hear the music from Marvin..RIP
That was my favorite from Marvin Gaye! RIP 💙✌🏾
Marin Gaye and Tammi Terrell had so much chemistry and when she passed away it affected him severely
One of my favorite songs ... ever! Marvin and Tammi. Thank you for this one!
Anything by Marvin gaye is worth his version of the national.anthem is bananas
Incredible moment in time when he sang that at the Los Angeles Forum. I can't help but feel tremendously sad knowing what tragedy soon followed that performance.
Without marvin we wouldn't have modern rock n roll.
the young lady singing with him Tammy Terrell, they did a few songs together and were good friends. They say her death really affected him ( she died of a brain tumor around 26 or 27). Also if you ever saw the movie "Remember the Titans" the football players sang this in the locker room when they were all joking around and dancing.
Yes he did take it hard. She was like a little sister to him.
She was 24
This was a favorite. So sad about Tammy!
So sad. I completely idolize her and everytime I hear her voice I cry because she went through so much. Plus tammi was marvin’s favorite duet partner out of all of his duet partners, she was incredibly special :(.

They have two other songs worth listening to: Ain't Nothing Like The Real Thing Baby and You're All I Need To Get By!
They have two more! Don’t forget:
Your Precious Love
If This World Were Mine
💙😊✌🏾
"You're All I Need to Get By" is one of my favorites ever! They should also listen to the Mary J. Blige/Method Man "All I Need" from the 90s too!
Please react to Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell singing "You're All I Need to Get By"
and then Mary J. Bilge and Method Man’s version
You need to check out all of Marvin Gaye's music.
Exactly...start with all of them and then just pick and choose.
You know it!!!

You both have old souls! Thats dope
Two beautiful singers who died too soon. Try his song "Mercy Mercy Me" next.

Marvin Gaye had many Motown hits. He was smooth, raw, and, well just fabulous. Motown artists often recorded the same songs AND they were hits. Diana Ross did Ain’t No Mountain as well. Great music!
Twins, please react to these other Marvin Gaye classics: "Mercy, Mercy Me", "What's Going On?" and "inner City Blues (Make Me Wanna Holler"). He's one of the G.O.A.T.s!
Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell one of the great Motown duets. You boys need to do some education on Motown, it's stars and its forever imprint on the music industry. The Motown sound is forever.
This song STILL gives me the good feels
This song was featured in Stepmom starring Julia Roberts and Susan Sarandon and Ed Harris! Great movie and I LOVE THIS SONG! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Made me cryyyyyy but yes- such a good movie!
I love STEPMOM!, and this is one of my favorite songs.

Classic Marvin Gaye. Great choice! That’s Tammy Terrell singing with him.

Weren't they a FABULOUS DUO? 🎶🎶🎶❤️
yep now i need to listen to if this world were mine. sigh
Thanks for reading the pic to everyone.
@@brikhouse22 well, I'm glad they did..the guys just commented saying, "oh, there's a girl in there too". She was part of an epic, classic singing duo..she should get more that an off handed mention! TAMMI TERRELL🎶🌟🎶
Motown was the best sound !!!!
Absolutely, nothing compares, from
a 75 y/o white woman 😉
Facts
True!!!
Still is
Marvin & Tammy were THE duet of their day, He was the heart throb of his day.. started out as a drummer at Motown
Growing up, I had a handful of albums that I played on repeat. Marvin Gaye's Greatest Hits was one of them and I can't tell you how many times I sang this song into a hairbrush while dancing around my bedroom. It's so wonderful to watch the next generation genuinely appreciating the songs the rest of us grew up with. 💜
(PS) Gaye was hands-down the finest of all the Marvins!
You have to react to 70’s Hits from Marvin- I want You, After the Dance, Distant Lover, Any thing from his very last album 💿.
This when he was at his best!!!
That last album "Til Tomorrow" still gives me goosebumps!!!

What's goin on is my favorite.

This is Marvin and Tammy Terrell. This is definitely a banger!!! Both died too soon. Tammy died from a brain tumor...that hurt my heart. Marvin Gaye's father killed him. They were definitely a dynamic duo!!!❤
This was a big a hit. Terrific song. It’s been a long time since I heard it. I love hearing these oldies. 💝💜🧡💙❤️

"Troubled Man" and "What's Going On" are Marvin musts! You guys are great. This gal here grew up with Motown in the 60's and 70's Rock. By the time the 80's came around I was a young mom & was distracted from music. Keep the reviews coming. 💙
When my son was in kindergarten his class sang this song to the moms for Mother’s Day complete with choreography/sunglasses! I will never forget it!! It was the sweetest thing!! He is now 25. Thank you both for this one!!

I haven't seen any recommendations for Teena Marie "Square Biz" yet! That's my jam. Yall check it out!
Haha! Square Biz! Have not thought about that song in decades! Great song!😁👍
Honestly I’ve been trying to get multiple RUclipsrs to react to Teena. It’s sad she doesn’t get the recognition she deserves.
That one always gets people on the dance floor! 💃🏽
@@AmeerolisaRa-cw3qg me too!! It's like a huge blind spot or something.
Distant Lover is off the chain too! Marvin was the man... another talented brother gone to soon from violence and from his own dad! Wow!
This is my favorite duet between Marvin and Tammi! Written by Nick Ashford and Valerie Simpson and was redone by Diana Ross. You should see their video of them performing this live. Also find the a capella version. It will blow your mind. No autotune. You did hear it in a movie. Several, in fact, Sister Act 2, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Sorority Wars.
Movie - Remember the Titans 🌟
Marvin Gaye is my top male vocalist, he will always be my favorite, we're from the same hometown... Washington DC
You listened to Diana Ross' version once! That's where you heard it before, I think. And Tammi Terrell, Marvin Gaye's singing partner was so lovely. They were a great team. Luv you guys! Peace and love.

I saw which song it was I knew I had to click instantly. I think you're going to enjoy this. And you even enjoy some of the music that I personally don't care about. But when you're 71 you think you've heard everything in the world but you haven't. Peace and blessings guys -- keep up the good work. Gail in Central Florida Saturday, November 14, 2020.

You two are so cute. You did hear this song before because you reviewed Diana Ross singing it. Keep up the great work!
This song has been in plenty of movies:) When I taught in Chicago, my school did a Motown themed show. I chose this song as part of the medley I chose for my kids and they did such a fantastic job! Thanks for bringing back the beautiful memories.
