Thanks for sharing your repair story!! I’m battling the same Norcold unit. It didn’t want to fire up on Propane. So I replaced that Orifice Tube that you showed at the end. When I peaked into the burner box (name), I could see it trying to fire up, but it wouldn’t. I saw a video that said sometimes there is dust in there. One said you can shake the dust out, but it may not get an ideal flame. I went for the low price part, and that definitely fixed that problem. And there was fine dust that poured out of the one I removed. So on the trip I took this week, the propane was lighting/burning, but now I have a flashing red light. Hence my presence at your video. I’m going to keep going. My was made in 05/06, so I’m replacing the thermistor. Of course, I went out to check it, and it is acting like nothing is wrong, at least light wise. I’m in that wait-and-see phase. Thanks for explaining the “how to remove” part. If it comes to that, you will have saved me from wanting to cut it in half.😊
I have the 3 way one... when i first got this i plugged in a little light in the ceiling and it killed the car battery and over loaded the rv. Fixed that but now i have 0 power to the ac, a light over the couch and no power in the bathroom outlet. Not sure why im telling you but everyone i know doesnt know what to do lol. I think its the glass fuse. Ugh
Dam bud should've titled it spent a bunch of money until I figured it out.

What was the reading on the thermistor? I bought a brand new one from Amazon, and it was open...
Mine was in spec. It was between 28 and 29 in the cold water and 8 -9 when warmed up. Here is a link to the data sheet specs. www.irv2.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=171823
