He put that so nicely...a mantra for us all. U2 have just been in NZ snd once again the negative commentary comes out like it has for Coldplay. They are people .. they write from their hearts... they give it back to us. If we don’t like it, no need to hate. There’s enough music in this world for us all to find something we do love!

It’s such a great statement, if you don’t like it’s ok. Unfortunately there a people out there on social media who don’t understand what goes into making this and how vulnerable you are by putting it out there. I saw cold play for there last tour, the concert was seriously cool and well executed. The intimate acoustic portion still shows a band of people that just have an incredible love for what they do. this album is unexpected in what it’s delivered for me, I really like it, sometimes you don’t know what you like until it comes along. I got to say when I first heard their album and their decision not to tour made me dislike there direction for a bit. But as I thought about it and listened more and more I realized it is their music, their album and their band. Its not exactly their duty job to do what other people tell them to do, whether that be their fans or managers. They should keep being coldplay no matter what others say

Chris Martin is by far one of the most genuine, pure, brilliant, talented, sincere, respectful and caring human being on this Earth. I couldn't possibly be more grateful to be a witness of his greatness and to have the chance to follow the outstanding journey of Coldplay. Their music is what the world needs to heal and find peace.

I’m so sad... my Mum has a terminal illness and we were so hoping we would get to go to one more concert. We’ve been to concerts of each of the past three albums they toured.

My favorite singer and celebrity. The humanity that he and the band displays is so pure and beautiful. Don't understand why they get so much crap. Talented musicians and most importantly, great people.
Chris is really such a blessing to this world. He works hard and the band to spread love and empathy to people, lift them up and inspire them. They’re like the pill everyone need in this sad and cruel world.
I don’t get why there’s people who don’t like Coldplay, I’ve been a fan since a little after Mylo Xyloto and I’ve only seen love upon love for this band.

"Ghost Stories" were not a toured album and it is one of the best/personal albums that Coldplay has done. Daft Punk's masterpiece, Random Access Memories, also was not a touring album. High hopes for "everyday life"

“you can’t please everybody” is such an important lesson. i feel like i hold back on expressing my thoughts or i stop before talking about things that i’m passionate about (like my love for coldplay for one) whenever i feel like the person i’m talking to won’t share my vision or won’t understand me, but it’s so stupid, what am i gonna be? an eternally concealed person that only shows what others might like? i don’t pretend to be someone i’m not, but i do hide a lot of myself in fear of rejection, that’s just pointless cause we will never be happy if we aren’t true to ourselves and people that don’t respect our passions and thoughts shouldn’t be the people we keep close

From the outset, Superbowl was amazing. How can anyone not like it? The choreography was amazing. Bruno not great, but Coldplay... wow... the kids loved it... I loved it. Yes. This is a great open and intuitive interview. It’s hard to describe a creation that just flowed out of your creative juices, with no plan or agenda.
This band gets so much hate as it's disappointing. I understand & respect most peoples possible reasoning to hate them, but jeez.
They're not THAT awful or so UNBEARABLE that your ears will bleed dry if you listen to a single Coldplay song.
I can't wait to find people locally that actually appreciate Coldplay for what they're doing.

I find this statement can be apply to Imagine Dragons (although i agree that their two latest album aren't as good as their first two, and smoke+mirrors are my favourite).
They're just an "Okay" band. Quite suprising that people who say "they're the worst" are somehow saying like as if they didn't know there could be a band/group band that are far worse than them, or far too overrated. Or maybe they're just jump onto bandwagon and possibly thought that "average = bad" in music, like can be categorised as normies, or "soccer-mom" approved. Maybe that they somehow people think they're rock band and dissapoint with it on how rockness they are.
To be honest, some of their fans can be exaggerate too.
In conclusion, Coldplay is just a decent band, for people who want some relaxing or upbeat song, with a touch of some rock instrument (don't know if that's a good description). They're not the worst in the music industry, or in any catergory.
But for the upcoming album "Everyday Life", i hope there are more songs like "Orphans", or any upbeat song from Mylo Xyloto and A Head Full of Dreams.

I've tried to give them a chance but I couldn't get down with Imagine Dragons' discography. And yes, I too hope "Everyday Life" is going to be upbeat and just overall enjoyable to listen to. For me personally, I'd love some songs that are "Parachutes" sounding since Parachutes is my favorite Coldplay album. I doubt it'll happen but it would be pretty cool if it did.

I sure hope that they tour in the US. They are by far the BEST performers ever and the concert is once in a lifetime experience. I took my BF to one, he likes coldplay, but isn't a die hard.. after that concert, he fell in LOVE. the atmosphere, the love, the epicness. It's the best.

We're in similar situation I believe like it was with Ghost stories - an extremely personal album to Chris (and one of my very favourites together with X&Y), then releasing A head full of dreams next year and doing a mega tour!;)
So once again, the actual good album won't get a tour but the shitty upbeat, hippy-pop follow up album will get a big one 🙄
